Krypto Moon (Good News!)

Hello everyone, welcome to my hack thread! This is actually my first "major" hack. This is the story, but I'm trying not to reveal too much:

Mario was on his way walking back to his home from Toad Town, and noticed a letter on the ground in front of his house. He opened it and read:
"Gwahaha! Guess what? I kidnapped your precious princess again! Just try and save her this time! Gwahaha!"
Mario sets off to Bowser's castle, but little does he know that bowser isn't up to a simple kidnapping again...

Screenshots and\or videos!

Title Screen and Intro

Submaps and Overworld

Only first submap finished so far.

Mario's House

All the Levels up next will probably have unique names, I just haven't thought of them yet.

Level 1
Has a layer 3 background #w{=P}

Level 2

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value=""></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

Level 3

Nothing special, jumping shells, bob ombs and bouncy mushrooms. :b

Level 4

Tricky :3 (I'm aware of the green hearts in the last screen, I fixed that.)

Level 5

Level 6
Omg! O: Popple's animated #w{=P} -Unfinished-

Well that's all I have so far... Except for random levels I made for later worlds #w{=D}

Comments and criticsm would be greatly appreciated! #w{=3}

Wow, I am really impressed with this hack so far, you seem to have put alot of work in it, and it shows. VERY impressive for a newer user such as yourself.
Wow! This looks awesome! The whole hack has good graphics, and interesting gimmicks. And the popple cutscene is epic. I can't see anything wrong with this hack. I am definitely keeping my eye on this hack. #w{=)}
@Volke: Thanks, I try =P

@[email protected]: Glad you like it :D I was actually inspired to make the cutscene after hearing the popple battle custom song #w{=P}

This is, just wow... You're GFX are completely awesome! This is looking so good, I can't even find anything wrong with it.
You had me hooked at the title screen. o.o

This looks like a really good hack. The graphics look good. The only thing that looks slightly awkward is the goal/flagpost... >:|

I love the background in that screenshot.

Very nice. I'll be watching this closely. :)
YES! Finally you made a thread for this wonderful hack, Foop. I have to say - this is some amazing work here. All of the screens are beautiful, the graphics are absolutely awesome (really good and unique style for a SMW hack), and overall, it looks incredibly fun. The level design looks alright, maybe a bit too simple at a few places for my taste, but it's surely enjoyable to play. The last screen is plain beautiful, and I like the cutscenes so far. Very impressive, and I can't wait for updates. I really look forward to play this hack.

This looks amazing!

I might put some sort of signature here once. I guess.
This hack has outstanding, UBEREPIC wellpolished and cool graphics^^
the music box and the background Soccerryle mentioned are my favourite graphics^-^

I hope this hack don't lack good level design in the end, though
your gfx are just fantastic. i mean seriously, they raise the bar of amazing. excellent job.
as for the level design, i have no complaints. it all looks wonderful. great job, ill be looking out for more.
umm... can i help you!?
About the flagpole as someone mentioned, I used Noobish Noobsicles SMB flagpole patch, which uses the goal tape GFX... So I can't change it D:

And I'm purposely keeping the level design simpler, as it is the first world #w{=D}

Well hey, can't change it, can't change it. Its not that it looks horrible, it was just a bit awkward. But I doubt this hack will be given tons of criticism based off of one graphic.
Oh my god! Awesome! Excellent GFX! Good Title Screen!

You are a master!

Your hack is just fantastic. Your title screen is really epic.

I loved the way you inspired in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, mainly in the cutscene. I WILL look forward for this.
Now I need to change my old avatar. Or not.
Watching that video actually has me excited to play this hack. Even though it's just a graphic swap, seeing red coins instead of dragon coins elates me just a little. The video and the pictures show excellent level design; please keep that pace as you continue!
you know that it's me that typed this because of my signature right here
By the way, I love the redrawn redrawn Koopas.
Anyways, this hack emanates true effort, and the colorful palettes and graphics all look amazing.

Great work.
Your layout has been removed.
I was right in looking at this one thread, which I normally don't do. The title drew me in, for right away I could tell this one was different. The graphical choices and combinations are superb, and all the details, the title screen, Luigi and his TV, the look of the cutscene, they greatly add to the hack. My only miff is that I have slight trouble reading the font, in addition to it's lack of capitals.

Thanks for the coments guys.

There aren't any capitals, because I started this hack withought knowing ExGFX, and I used the letters already in SMW which had no capitals. I can add capitals though, now that I know ExGFX #w{=)}

Popple, huh? This is looking really good!
I especially like the last screenshot, also if you are gonna do M&L style bosses (popple), one to do would be Hermie III for a beach level or something.Just an idea though, looks awesome anyways! #w{:>}
This looks great! Mario looks great, the levels look great, and I love that cutscene!

My only real nitpick is that the message box in the second screen has a bad palette. It must have gotten overwritten by the background's palette.
