General Anime Discussion

All shows airing in the new season. So far I have picked out three shows I'll most likely follow: "Beelzebub", "Kore wa Zombie desu ka?" and "Onii-chan no Koto nanka Zenzen Suki Janain Dakara nee!!". I'll check out "Fractale" as well since a good subber group I'm getting awesome subs from is going to tackle that project.

This season doesn't seem as exciting as the last one though. :<
I'm excited for Beelzebub since I'm reading it. That's all really. Also, Ao no Exorcist is becoming an anime in March this year and I'm super excited for that since it's my favourite manga right now. :D

*continues beelzebub*
Magica was advertised alot in "The world God only knows" or I think it was "MM!" (I can't really remember too well) so I may give that a go, other than that, reading them all there are alot of echhi's anime's I'd like to see. (maybe for all the wrong reasons @__@)

Jeez, I just finished watching episode 11 of Kore wa Zombie desu ka.

...

why the fuck can yuu suddenly talk?
Anime Spring Season 2011 chart.

There appear to be quite a few interesting animes this time round too.
X-Men fuck yeah!
Your layout has been removed.
That's some quite interesting animes right there. It seems that Hidan no Aira would be something i would watch the most among the rest.
Reading quickly through it, I'll be watching:

Ao no Exorcist
Hidan no Aria

Mostly excited for Ao no Exorcist. It's my favourite manga right now. Me and my friend have been reading it since around July last year ... it's going to be a good spring.

These and Maria Holic (Oh SHAFT I love you)
Some other shows that should be obvious because of signs of echhi :3

The 2nd season of my favorite anime, To Aru Majustu no Index, ended last week. It was a fantastic season, and the end acts a as a perfect setup for the events of the upcoming arcs that happen in the Light Novels (which are the source material that the anime is based off of, of course)

Still though...I'm a little sad - I have no idea when they're gonna continue the series. I want a season threeee. :<
^ Happened to my favourite anime on Christmas :/
Although when they end it's for the best, usually it's due to lack of idea's in prolonging the end.

I kind of dislike how they ended this season. What they're doing to Accelerator's character and the whole concept of war in academy city was kind of sudden, where I hoped they'd get more detailed about why he sprouted angel wings. Index's voice before she saved Misaka 20,001 during the prayer was just <3 by the way. Accelerator's scream afterwards was not <3. Sounded like a dieing walrus on helium.

I really hope that Touma develops more powers than just imagine breaker. I mean, yeah, cancelling out anything with your right hand is cool, but it gets a bit repetitive having him give a 5 minute speech then absolutely owning his opponent's face.

I'm also confused about Tsuchimikado's involvement with the oppression of antiskill or whoever they targeted near the end of season 2.

Also because I can't wait for another episode I'm going to read the manga. Looking it up briefly, God's right seat seem to be more of a focus later ... eeee. :)

Well, while the arc that concluded just before the last two episodes would have made a better finale, the last two episodes in my opinion acted as a good setup for the stuff that's gonna happen next. Regarding Accelerator's wings and that inhuman scream that he made I actually have accidentally heard a few spoilers about as I've browsed the web about this series, but I don't know if you'd want me to share them, heh...

Oh, and um, if you want to see more of the series before new episodes are made, the manga isn't the place to look - from what I've heard, the manga is a side project that is in fact behind even the anime series. The anime's source material is actually a Light Novel series. (kind of like Shakugan no Shana) I believe you can still read them online though, but I haven't looked yet.

Also, if you have not watched To Aru Kagaku no Railgun yet, that might be something you'd want to check out - it's a full-length spinoff anime that focuses on Misaka Mikoto and her friends, taking place a little while before Index takes place.
Finally caught up with Gosick and Kore Zombie (still waiting for the swimsuit hijinx episode release from Underwater though). Kore Zombie was awesome - probably even one of the best shows I have seen in a while.

So now with the start of the new season, I checked out Nichijou and Hanasaku Iroha as the first episode of those were already released. Nichijou is said to be like Lucky Star. I haven't seen LS so I can't really say if it's true but it is kinda lulzy. All kawaii desu yo~ with lots of what the fuck moments thrown in.

Hanasaku Iroha seems to go more the serious plotline. I couldn't help but feel reminded of Clannad, although the setting is entirely different. We'll see how it carries on, but the first episode is promising so I will keep an eye on it. Plus the art is awesome. <3

I can't wait for Ao no Exorcist, Hidan no Aria, Steins;Gate, Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko and The World God Only Knows S2. This season sure is promising, I certainly hope my expectations won't be let down. :]
Stiens Gate has been out since Wednesday, well, on stream it has...

Iroha was ok, the style looks ALOT like Bakuman imo didn't look to see if it was produced by the same duders.(I can see this one being very fan-raped like Panty and Stocking)

I watched the first episode of 30-sai no Hoken Taiiku. Despite the silly censoring, it's damn hilarious. Everyone go watch it now. Because you know you want to.

Also yeah, I've seen Steins;Gate already, found two good sources. It's quite interesting to say the least, although I've got zero idea what the fuck was going on.
Welp, just finished ToraDora... Man that was a really good anime (kinda overtakes Angel Beats as my favourite in some aspects), although its a shame about Minorin.

And started on Ef (seen CP mention it everywhere before he vanished), it's ok so far although 1 episode shouldn't form an opinion.

EDIT: WHOOOPPPSSSS WRONG STICKY D:

Have you seen Welcome to the N.H.K.? It seems to be somewhat of a love-it-or-hate-it sort of show depending on whether you have the capacity to care about the characters on screen or not (i.e. if you can't care about them you'll probably want to only yell at them for their disorder-related mishaps), but I still really recommend it; if you like it, you'll really like it.
I should get a new layout.

Probably won't, though.

If I recall, there's a season 2 of K-ON! right? Add that on there.

Yup. I just finished watching that for like a few weeks ago too.

Also, i just watched Hidan no Aria today. I expected it to be awesome and yeah, i enjoyed it's first episode. For some reason, this anime reminds me of Shakugan no Shana and Toradora quite and Aria reminds me of Shana a lot mostly because of her tsundere-ness and having the same VA. She's pretty awesome and tough too. lol. This show is gonna be one of my next favorites for sure. I can't wait for it's next episodes.
@Zephyr : Madoka just finished and I'd reccomend that show to ANYONE.

On another note, is anyone still following Beelzebub? I can't understand why you would drop it if any of you did. So hillarious.
