I had this problem with the last season... Maybe you DO need a break like you said. (YES YOU WERE WATCHING "ANO HANA" WINZORZ)REMOVED
Ao no Exorcist had its first filler with the recently released episode 6.

Fuck Brotherhood, the original was overly better than Brotherhood ever was.
all respect to you as a fellow otaku has now been lost
I don't get how you could like the original FMA over Brotherhood. At least in Brotherhood they didn't make up some bullshit story of Homunculus being the reincarnation of their failure to restore life to a dead loved one (implying that no other alchemist other than the few in the anime did human transmutation, I mean really?) and ended with some lazily thrown together explanation about alchemy that it's the power of dying people in another dimension (read: london).
I just don't get it.
First off, I never claimed to be an Otaku in the first place. Second, the original FMA was just such a great series, and I personally think they ruined the series when Brotherhood came out, maybe its just nostalgia taking over, but I never liked Brotherhood at all.

Just for the record, you do realize that Fullmetal Alchemist was a manga first, and that Brotherhood actually follows the author's original intentions, as opposed to the original anime that quickly ran out of material to base itself off of and just began making stuff up as it went along? I'm not attacking you for this, I'm just making sure you're aware.
I should get a new layout.
Probably won't, though.
Yeah, I know, and note that I like they manga more than both the animes, but I still liked the original anime better. Again, its probably only nostalgia taking over, as it was the first anime I ever completed and it was so powerful.
Meh, might give Brotherhood another shot.

You honestly make no sense.
I know, but meh.
So I was thinking of watching Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, but I've got to know: dub or sub? In general I find I prefer dubbed (since you can actually watch the action instead of the text onscreen), but I've heard that Kamina's performance compared to the Japanese is somewhat...lacking, which takes away from the overall tone. Is it really that noticeable, or is the dub still fine despite that?
I should get a new layout.
Probably won't, though.
I'm a sub fanatic so +1 to subs. Personally I haven't heard the dub but from my experience with any anime in the history of forever dubs always are worse than subs. Always. Japanese voices just have a lot more emotion than westerners do.
atma don't kill me

The only time I'd ever "like" dub is DBZ and thats only because I grew up with it... Otherwise the voice sound too forced. So yeah subs all the way!REMOVED

IMO the dub and sub are equally as great for this anime; I personally prefer the dub (and I guess you would too)

Someone's never watched Baccano
I still need to watch Gurren Lagann.
So many things to watch, so little free time D=

I wonder, is there any anime out there that would give that Clockwork Orange feeling? I would certainly like to know
EDIT:
Minus the nudity.
I have never seen Clockwork Orange myself, so I can'judge that sorry D=
just a suggestion, isn't it about time that there was a Channel for Anime and Manga on the IRC?

Only one episode of Gosick left, can't wait after today's episode, which I had fewer complaints about than the previous. Still, there's a good chance the entire thing will end very sadly, or even worse it'll end leaving a bad taste in one's mouth. However, [spoilers]. Also a certain person died that I'm very happy about :V
I'm not posting this just because bin isn't on irc atm
I've realized this was outdated.
I just finished watching the currently available baka to test specials and am now on episode 6 of "There's no way my little sister can be this cute" and I must say, that is quite a nice anime.
I wonder if I will ever run out of anime though -_-
As my plannign to watch list is growing with the day, no that I'm complaining or anything but still XD

I just saw a few clips from the Angel Beats! dub and, eh, it's a bit disappointing. Perhaps it's just me, but Otonashi's seems to be the weakest of the group, which is a problem considering he's, y'know, the main character. I don't really have major problems with any of the other cast; they sound different, but still fitting, though Asami Iwasawa's voice actress really stands out as sounding fantastic.
Kind of ironic considering my posts in the Sub vs. Dub topic, eh?
I should get a new layout.
Probably won't, though.
I just finished "Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai" aka "There's no way my little sister can be this cute" and it was pretty darn good.
While looking through my list to pick something to watch during my last week before I leave, I've decided to go with Angel Beats, no idea what to expect so I guess I'll wait till tomorrow when I'll post back here what I think of the first 2 episodes =3
So I just finished the first two episodes of Angel Beats, and I'm pretty much amazed, it's something I haven't seen anything like it so far.
I gotta admit though, the first episode I was completely lost, but that soon came all together when I got to the second one.
I don't know if it'll be my favorite anime of all time, but it sure is a good one so far.

To anyone who watched Toaru no Majustu, I guess...
Did the show actually end for good after season 2, or was that a semi-cliffhanger at the end of it? Kinda confused the hell out of me.
I still have yet to watch railgun's spinoff .-.REMOVED
