It's ok, but it needs work, try making custom gfx.

    Z Hacker: No offence, but it actually looks terrible
    -the platform down and right from the weird one has a bad shape and the support isn't in the middle
    -the bottom left platform (touching) the bottom looks like it just stops behind one of the supports
    -really plain and simple, no detail
    man don't put me on speaker crab

    The idea is pretty cool, but you might want to work on the perspective a bit. This would actually be a really cool idea for the toad town overworld. Also, maybe add some stuff in the background. Clouds, or birds. To make it the toad town overworld just fix the mushrooms and add some buildings. I had a good idea for toad town, we should make it like a dystopia. Ever read the book 1984? Big brother is watching you...
    Anyways, yeah, add some buildings on to that.
