real. also i just finished two levels and almost done with the 3rd. is taking a long time but it will be worth it. when i finish the third level then il post more screens. after about 10 levels I'll release a demo

Overworld
I know this is still a WIP overworld, but I already like the start you have there. Good land structure, and it has a new, fresh palette. My only complaint is that it's a little bland, but I'm sure you'll fix that up soon enough.
As for the Mario/Luigi special world palette thing: Awesome.
Level Design
Not really enough screenshots to get a good grasp, but it all looks pretty good.
Graphics/Palettes
I like your graphical choices. A lot of them are less-used than others, which is good to see, considering the amount of hacks that all use the same tilesets. I really like the background in the fourth screen (in the OP), though.
Misc
Really cool title screen. Fits the hack very well.
Errors
I see none.
Overall
Looks good so far from the little bit you've shown. Nice stuff.

hmmm. I'll probably aim for 40-60 extis + the specail world "sidequest" which is another 6 levels. I'll get new screenshots up very soon. Just trying to pump up the levels to max gameplay.

made a new nintedo presents screen
ill probably end up changing the title screen alot until i find a nice color mixture for it
i plan on using some windowing/hmda/whatever ect. to add curtains to either open up left and right-wise or go up (like in smb3) to replace the circle that opens up to the intro
i found a nice ice level in an old hack i was working on and it was quite nice so i added it in
christmas koopas ^^

I think that there should be a rule against saying anything relating cake to a lie in this thread.
Anyways, I like what I've seen so far. The Mario-in-the-tophat looks really good, the levels (with the exclusion of the ice one, I feel the FG doesn't fit the BG) look amazing. The main OW is a bit bland, but I bet that you're going to fix that soon. I do like the submaps with the pixelated Mario on it. Nice job so far!

Aye! but the graphics are 1/4 the hack. then the ow is 1/8 the asm is 1/4 and the levels and the level design is 2/4. on that note i am almost done making an OW that would work for a demo and fixing up some clashing graphics and small bugs. i will probably have all that done by.. idk.. maybe tomorrow when I shall have this beta tested and then submit to smwc if good enough.
