Christ I should really get this worked on. I'm glad I started some time earlier and got some of it worked on before my homework load stacked up. Eh, it shouldn't be long to finish, however it'll be hell testing it out to make sure everything works properly.
Anyways I have a question regarding the submissions. The date that the levels are to be in is the 24th, however what is the latest time we can send it in?AnimeList | MangaList

Yeah, something like that. Hence why I said "about" another week, since I was too lazy to check the first post.
Just to be sure, I know the deadline is October 24th, but any specific time on that day?
IIRC in the last couple of contests the deadline was midnight, and I'm just assuming EDT but I dunno. Just wondering! I'm expecting to be a last minute submission if I even finish.
Yeah, it's always midnight EST (or if I'm not here and nobody else closes it, then the deadline is extended until I reach the thread).
I fixed the Tap-Tap's, Birdo's, and SMW2 ghosts, but I'm trying to get done with my level too so I don't know if I will have enough time because now when I try to add the SMW2 goomba, it looks dark, and I don't see an option in Lunar Magic 1.81 that says "Enable custom palette."
Also, if I have time, I want to try to make a maze part and a video of my level to show the progress.
S.N.N.- Just to let you know, I have a problem when I try to run the game in SNES9x 1.51, it just makes a sound, and then crashes, but it seems to work perfectly fine in ZSNES 1.42 so will that matter or will you try different emulators to make sure it works?
One more question: What will the level be judged on and how many points is it out of?

@Lespna1: In LM 1.81, the Enable Custom Palette option was moved into the Palette Editor itself, so you'll find it there now.

With another week, do you mean another four days? or two days 8 hours something at the time of this post?
It was a real pain to find some little free time every day to make progress on this hack. I was so aware that I can't finish it in time, but fortunately I even had some time for a big bonus...>:3 We'll see who can find it first.
Anyways, I'm not really sure if I'll get 1st place or not, but honestly I expect a high ranking...:) But it was fun working on it, after all.
I think I'll have to drop out of this one. Exams coinciding with the last week of the contest combined with my usual tendency to put things off until the last minute hasn't been conducive to finishing my level on time, surprisingly enough. I guess I'll save it for next year or something...My YouTube channel

Well guys, the level I did with Logup for this contest is practically done, we are just fixing some remaining glitches. Meanwhile, here are some screenshits of the level.
I have to just say that Limepie's is the only entry I have played so far by suggestion, and its freakin' awesome.

Hadron if your hack isn't in the top 10 I'm going to be sad. But then again, 42 made a good point, even if it isn't in the top 10, that means that there is going to be a lot of good hacks.
I honestly don't think we are gonna win this one, or even get a bronze trophy, we might get in the top ten, but that is beside the point. We will release our hack in the hacks section so that (if it gets accepted) it will get some attention after the contest.
The chance that I'll win something is less than the chance of being struck by lightning while you win the lottery.
But seriously, my level is okay, but not the best. I just hope that it will get a decent rating...
Hadron's level is awesome. Sweet 8BPP intro you've got. I don't expect mine to be in the top 20 at all, because of how it is. It was made a long time ago.
... Hadron, the Presents screen in MiJ surprised me even though I already knew it was possible. Good fucking bye.
There's definately a lot of good looking levels out there. This competition is shaping up to be fierce!
... If only I had put more effort and time into my own level.
