Probably a month as always. There are a lot less levels to play than Vanilla 2010 though, so we'll try and be a bit quicker this time.

Self-explanatory.
But now, I'm thinking I shouldn't finish my incomplete choco level at all for C3, instead, I should wrap up my other hack and just release it sometime after.
Eh, a month's a month. Waist time doing other things. If not, it shouldn't be much longer than that.

The forgotten place 1.1

Well, this is a small bugfix courtesy of me. Fixed a secondary exit bug and some glitched GFX in a bonus area.

Still has some custom block bugs which i have no idea on how to fix, unless i do some changes to the level, which would result in me inserting some other custom blocks and stuff which i don't think is allowed... better off leaving it alone.

I don't know any ASM so mine wasn't really professional, but I was trying to use custom sprites. However, why do Bowser and some other enemies like the ground pounding koopa end up with the colors mixed up or after they look right in Lunar Magic, the graphics looked really strange in the game, and I used Sprite Tool v 1.40 by Romi so I don't know what was wrong.

S.N.N.- Have you tried to play my level yet or does it go in the order in which the IPS patches were submitted? If there are glitched graphics, are we allowed to fix them or only if there is something wrong w/the IPS patch? You stated that it will be about a month until all of the levels have been played.
Also, I stated in the post that you have to right-click on the hyperlink and pick "Save Target As".

There goes my chance of entering...
Judging update: I'm done three quarters of them. I've been relatively free, so I pretty much blazed through a good chunk of them.

Impressions thus far: disappointing entries for the most part (minus one which is fucking awesome). I think I've rated 75% of them below 20 out of 30 points.
So, are you the only one judging these or?
No, there are two others as well. I'm just talking about where I'm personally at so far.
Yeah, most of these weren't very good.

The best was definitely LunarDrake's entry.

Yeah, I can agree with you there.
Hobz's entry was pretty good, but a bit too short.
Hadron's entry was my favourite. LunarDrake's one was a bit unfair at the final boss. Changed jumping controls. That's what I didn't like.
from all the ones i played, i have to say, the one i liked most was MS Pain.

Glad you liked it, but I honestly thought some of the other levels were better (LunarDrake's and "Mario in Japan" were pretty cool). IIRC your level was the one with the badass castle graphics. Not sure if those were original hand-drawn graphics, but if they were then holy crap they're amazing.

Also, SNN, could you update the link to my patch in the submissions thread? It's apparently been the bad link for the past six days. I posted a working one a page back or so.
Your level have a unique feel, it's a brand new concept, and it was very well put together, there are many things that you just love to see and laugh, like the sun. Overall, it was a pretty good level. Also, glad you liked the level =3

In regards to the difficulty of the final boss, there is a bit of a trick to make him turn into a big puppy.
****SPOILER****
All one has to do is fling an enemy into the area near the top where you entered the sandpit. If you bank it off the wall, just like you would hitting a basketball off the backboard, the enemy will bounce off the wall and land right on the sandworm eater thing. With all the energy tanks that I have given, life shouldn't be a problem if you get hit a few times by the fireballs or the spikey bouncing bug thing.
***************
In regards to the level itself, I attempted to make it fairly easy, given that noone really wants to restart and go through a bunch of stuff they have already went through. Furthermore, I also tried to make it where there wasn't too much to go through before or after the mid-point. I do hate working my way through long levels, only to be killed by the final boss, and then have to take 20 minutes to get back to him only to probably die again. If a level has to be completed using savestates, it is more of a hack than a level, in my opinion. I suppose that is why I felt it a good idea to give out that boss clue, heh.

Actually, the sand boss was quite difficult. However, it wasn't such a huge problem that I had to constantly restart the level. So I really liked it. Besides, a challenge is good.
I'm not sure why so many people had issues with the sand boss. It really wasn't that difficult at all if you just stayed up high on the edges.

Really loved the ActRaiser vibe from it as well, even if that probably wasn't intended.
I'm finished my judging. Once I get the results from the other two judges, they will be posted.
Wow, that was fast.

Haha it seems I'll be taking last place. At least no one else have to. :D
