Plot isn't really needed in this... but if you put story in there, it makes it alot better in my case, but I can't speak for the judges.

Count me in, i already have some things in mind. i don't have much ASM knowledge (all right, i have none). but i'm certain that i will make something good without it. Now for a partner... I need someone...
I haven't joined any contests here so I think I'll enter this one. I've already got a decent story.
I'll try to make a level for this if I get the chance.

Spoiler: it's probably a good idea not to show screenshots here, since people could very easily take a creative idea from you. Of course, it's not DIS-allowed, but yeah.

Yeah, it's typically a good idea to just keep your mouth shut altogether with your plans on your level. You're just showing people what they need to beat, and unless it's something super ASM fancy, it's actually much easier to pull off than you might believe.
Well, I recently started to make a level that (maybe) can be my enter for this contest. I'm on in, but... I have several problems, like school, my band, other games than SMW... but let's give it a try. Also, I want to say that the level I'm going to create will appear in the final version of my hack. I'll put a lot of effort in it. And this is the first time I'm joining a contest.
When did I ever say goodbye? I am alive and well, and I have full intention of joining this contest again.
To tell you the truth I'm much more excited to see some of these entries... I can tell you right now there are going to be amazing ASMs, level design, musics and graphics!
I'm definitely taking another shot at this.

Never took part in any level design contest, and I most likely won't be doing so in this one either.

None of that is necessary to place well in this contest. You can have fantastic music, beautiful looking GFX, and nifty ASM added to the your entry, but if your entry is crap, it will not place well.
I'm gonna hopefully enter so long as schoolwork permits me. This gives me a reason to bother inserting some custom stuff to my hacks. I need to get to work on composing at least one song.

At first I was kind of like, 'A contest, NOW? Same time that school and hockey start?! I'm not going to have time for this.'
