Aw, that is so cute. If you wanted the Yoshi babies to look different you could change their colours.

A wallpaper of some type in the BG would be nice and maybe some small drawings too.

Not what I meant. People have been telling me that my GFX suck because they're too "unrealistic". That's just the thing, though. I don't like realistic drawing.

True. Plus, I don't feel like making a million different NPC sprites that use different spaces in the ExGFX file. That would quickly become cluttered.

I can't change their colors, either. That would mean the same thing as my reply to Kazio, but with palettes. Also, this is the GREEN yoshi village. I forgot to mention that. There will be multiple Yoshi Villages, each with different colored yoshies. Also, I already said I'm still working on the BG.

Anyways, I thought about something. What if I had bloopers in the hack? (No, not the squid things) What kinds of bloopers? I've come up with some.

Extras:
-Cameos (Don't ask me if I'll give you a cameo. I'll only do it for deserving users.)
-Left out things (Stuff that I WANTED to put in but couldn't.)
-Outtakes (lolwtf stuff)

What do you think? Also, like I said, don't ask for a cameo. I WILL however, give myself a cameo in an easy-to-find secret in the first ACTUAL level. (World 1-2) Feel free to suggest other kinds of bloopers.

Love what you did with the Yoshi Kid Hut, now all it needs is a good BG and it should look great.

For the bloopers, I would do the cameos, as the unused ideas option is used ALL THE TIME, and the outtakes option doesn't make any sense to me. :\

Also, when I checked the video, all of the things mockingod mentioned were already there, so that's a really epic fail. :\ (unless moltensnow magically updated it when I wasn't there...)

Looking good so far!

A patch you could use to make the status bar invisible on a per-level basis is the Statusbar scanline hack. It's a featured patch.

Also, for the OW, (if it's still looking the same from the last screen) you should use terra stripe to make the actual layer 3 border use the YI map border GFX. The map border was originally layer 3, too.
I did the same thing in one of my little side hacks, and it would look like this:

So, if I'm understanding you correctly, I should put the actual map on layer 3? That's actually not a bad idea. But the problem is, I can't seem to get the GFX to change with Terra Stripe. How exactly would that work?

The status bar scanline hack sounds like a good idea, actually. I'll use it.

Well, I take it that you aren't using the SMW layer 3 big title screen font? You could just delete all its tiles, and put the map border GFX in its place. Insert GFX, open the rom with terra stripe, and the GFX should be there.

I already know who's getting the first cameo. (Hint: Their name currently sounds like "Humpkin Rave". Their main username sounds like "coltentoe".)
The out-takes was stuff like SMW2+3 with things like the wrong ExGFX file was loaded for a cutscene. Of course, it'd be a secret.

Upon further inspection, you're right. Well, I know I've got some work to do. But wait, the GFX file for the map takes up the whole file, and there are some things I need from the original file.

Edit: leod made the star and I will be using it since it looks amazing.

Finally an update, this looks pretty good, and the border isn't that bad, sure, at first I couldn't tell what those eggs were, but still. Keep up the good work!

When I release a demo, go to level number 2 in Lunar Magic, and look around the level. There's a little something special.

I would take out the noteblock part it's pretty useless and in general gets hacks bad reviews when segments like that are in them seeing as noteblocks can easily glitch out when places together in a long line.

Also, I really don't like it when people use so many noteblocks and munchers in the first level, anyways. (Well, second, but the first level wasn't much of a level in the common sense)
