The Stage Deku Tree have babysitting item.
And I though that babysitting item is bad.

Extras

I should have something witty to put here (even if it's just to update dated info), shouldn't I?

Not all forms of carrying items around falls under "Item Babysitting".

I haven't quite finished this yet, but I'd like to comment at this point anyway.

This hack is just unbelievable. I can't imagine how much work went into this. I used savestates... this is a very tough hack, and I wasn't in the mood to try and fail dozens of times to get through many of the levels.

So I had a level clearance of 99, basically everything except for locating the 8th top secret area.

The clues were always decent enough to locate the other top secret areas. However, I don't think I would have ever found it without searching for a walkthrough, which I found on YouTube. It was in one of the 2 levels I suspected it of being in, and which I replayed dozens of times. I revisited Golden Yoshi and the Hideout over and over again, trying to figure out what clue I was missing because all of the other ones were just helpful enough, but all clues were really not that helpful. Wayyyy too vague.

If you update the hack, I suggest making the clue for the final top secret area just a little more helpful.

Keep up the good work! I'll probably replay this at some point without Savestates now that I have a good feel for the hack.

It was mentioned it was going to be changed in Version 2.2, as quoted here.

Also, in the same level I adjusted Marty's hint about the last "Top Secret Area" a bit to make it easier to find.

But there has been no news of a version 2.2 since July 23rd... So I have no idea what's going on behind the scenes, whether a new version is still being worked on, or it could be lost to the void.

I'm pretty sure v2.2 of TSRP2R is being worked on - it's just that it will take more time for him to make sure everything works as expected.

and he's also working on v1.2 of TSRPR1 (as noted on his web site), which will finally work on real accurate snes emulators like bsnes and higan and newer versions of snes9x (and also perhaps on actual SNES hardware).
@altoiddealer: if you don't mind about getting spoilers, in the last pages of this thread, there are some clues about the last TSA.
Bye.
The top of Mario's dresser in his castle acts like a conveyor belt. Why is that?
Kinda in hibernation for a while. I hope to be back in full swing soon.
I already pointed that out to FPI. He says it's been fixed.

Yes it will be fixed in v2.2, which is still being worked on.

I just finished this hack the other day. The first rom hack I ever played was The Second Reality Project Reloaded. I don't even remember how I came across it but this site was probably where I found it.

When I played the original it took me a year to beat it. Why? Because I didn't know what a save state was at the time. Sorry to say that even though I tried to do this save stateless, I sorta gave up around world 3. I was severely out of practice.

That doesn't mean it was too difficult though, I just kinda suck. But that aside I really enjoyed this hack. It was a completely fresh experience for me since I had only played TSRPR and some vanilla hacks up to this point. The fact it had cut scenes in it really blew me away. Though some call me easily impressed...

And oh my gawd was Hotel Horror puzzlingly difficult. But I enjoy difficult puzzles... It was so much fun to solve!

...I actually thought I was stuck though and couldn't beat world 8 when I came out of the portal. But luckily one of my friends found a way out for me.

My favorite world by far was World 4, I really enjoyed the splitting paths, and the bosses, and the levels, and everything about it.

So I can officially put this hack on the list of ones I've 100 percented. You did good FPI, you did good.
Hey, FPI, I see you've finally released an update to this hack, along with TSRPR. Since the actual TSRPR thread is locked, I'll just talk about it here. Although you've said you've fixed the game so it doesn't crash on accurate emulators and real hardware, I'm still getting crashes on Snes9X v1.53, thanks to $7E:1DFC 17 (the fire breath sound) and $7E:1DFC 27 and its variations (the sound when Podoboos jump out of the lava). Songs with an echo effect (like the cave theme) also still cause the game to crash. I'd be lucky if I could still hear sound effects afterwards, because then if I get to something that changes the music, things return to normal.

I think it has something to due with the version of Addmusic that you've used for TSRPR, because the one you've used for TSRP2 worked out great for me.

Argh! Sorry for the trouble - yeah it's most likely the addmusic-version, I used one of the first there. I'll get in touch with Ice Man who is the one who did the fix, maybe there can be still something done - otherwise the fix will take a long while longer I'm afraid.

Thanks for reporting!

Same here, NES Boy but testing the game in bsnes/higan. Yoshi spitting fireballs after eating a red koopa shell also stops the music from playing.

I also get a different bug in the updated release of TSRPR where the music stops in Volcanic Lake level after a Swooper Bat sound and sometimes the game locks up after dying or beating the level when the music stops there.

I wonder if FPI will use AddMusicK to fix the music problems with TSRPR. That was the version Ice Man used in the latest version of his Toad's World hack as listed in the Credits section when beating that game.

And also the Goomba Playground level of TSRPR has a total of 3 dragon coins, not five. The missing two dragon coins should be added onto that level.

For TSRP2R, v2.2 is not posted yet on FPI's web site but it will soon.

Red up through the floor way how to use exit is something you need to know at all that I haven't been able to solve it completely in just two exits 112 must be completed to the exit. I wish you could offer them in postings by inserting its image used would be appreciated. #ab{:)}

So, you're saying that you want a more convenient way to travel between the Second Reality and Bowser's Castle. Well, FPI can't respond to this, as he hasn't been on this forum for five months now. I'm sure he's busy. Anyway, as a workaround, try using these PAR Codes:

Start at MARTY'S SECRET BASE
7E1F11: 02 (Designated world map section)
7E1F17: 38 (Mario's designated X-position, low byte)

I tried it here any idea where any secrets that I haven't been able to be designed for this debate should be made a think about it. This I noticed that the floor and play more emphasis on nuclear research will be needed much help finding in, though. In addition, the point is to the end of the stage did screen shots directly itself and let's see.

If you're talking about this:

There is a way around it:
Go to Marty's Secret Base, enter the lower right room, and jump through the portal to reach Monty's Mansion in the First Reality. If you haven't already, power down to your small form. Then, ride one of the Mega Moles at the right side of the room. There's one mole hole in the wall which you can enter. The rest of the journey to Bowser's Palace is straightforward.
