i think he means removing them from his rom.

All my user bars and junk are in my Bio so read it.
I think he knows.
You'll need a ROM, a backup of your ROM, a hex editor and the patch.
Open both the ROM and patch, look at the address(es) the patch modyfied and what data it changes, go to that address in both ROMs, check the data from the backup of your hack and copy and paste it into the ROM you applied the patch.

Not sure if it'll work, though.
That would take an assload of work if many changes were made. >_<
A program that can "unpatch" an IPS is easy to make.

...
...
...no, I'm not going to make it.
..yes, I was actually thinking of that. Could you just read the data from the IPS and change back to correct addresses? Oh wait, you'd need a backup of the original to know what to change it back to, so that'd be pretty pointless wouldn't it. >_<

Of course, I have no idea what I'm talking about. ._.
Not that I know much about hacking, but I would say just take preventative measures and back up your ROM before you patch. Of course, that doesn't help you now, but...you know what I mean.
You simply can't do this. (why did you make a topic on such an obvious question?) just like you can't undo death or un wet a tee shirt it will never be the same again.:(
Although it is funny to compare death to a wet t-shirt...

At least it's true.

Not necesarrily. The program could be built to compare the address to the one from a clean smw ROM...

Here is the order of events that can cause this to go wrong.

1. Person makes a back-up of there hack
2. Person applies IPS patch to there hack
3. Person spends two months hacking there hack
4. Person desides wants to remove the patch that he made two months ago
5. Person goes to the backup he made and then realizes the dreadful truth.

PERSON JUST LOST TWO MONTHS WORTH OF WORK!!!

See the problem?
Um... you could port work you made to the backup. >_>

they you most likely go about this is:
select rom to unpatch
select normal rom
select log file
Making a check, so it looks at a selected log file then looks into the regular rom then changes everything that was changed to the patched rom..

Seems pretty easy.

Kawaii !!

One problem. What if the address your backing up to isn't the same as it was in the original ROM. >_> After all, there's lots of data in a 4MB hacked ROM than a clean ROM.
I see that other people are trying to beat me to making the tool. :O

Do you mean that when the ROM expands to 4MB, the addresses change? I thought that happened when it expanded to 6MB or more.
