Cool "Boo" shirt on TeeFury today.

Thought this was cool. (Slightly SMW related.) It's only up for one day.
I never saw the point in wearing clothing based on video games. Usually when I see people walking around with Yoshi on their shirts the first thought to my head is that they need to grow up.

Of course, I'm a Mario fan too but I guess I'm just a hypocrite when it comes to this stuff.

(actually, to be honestly, i'm not a *mario* fan. the only thing I like from nintendo these days are their metroid games and zelda games because they have violence and action. if i had my way with consoles i'd have a ps3, kingdom hearts and CoD {B|)
nice boo, it would be good for Halloween if you aren't dressing up in anything else.

Holy damn. Now that is what I want on me right now. It's perfect for this month.Nothing to put here at the time being.
Thanks to Tom Servo for the awesome new layout!

Pretty much the same reason why people wear sports team or band shirts, to show their support for something they enjoy. Sure, it may be considered immature, but I work in the video game industry, and people sometimes wear these types of shirts. Doesn't mean they aren't responsible and intelligent people. I don't think people necessarily need to be judged on what they wear. One guy I work with wears these types of shirts at least once a week, but I can honestly say he's the most professional and knowledgeable employee here.

Besides, even though I have some of these shirts, I don't wear them frequently. I certainly wouldn't wear it to a new job, even one in the video game field, until I was comfortable in my setting.

Well, I suppose that was a bit off-topic. That's a pretty cool Boo shirt there. If I ever saw it in a store, I might pick it up.

You pretty much posted most of my opinion, but if they want to wear something, well, they're free to do so. As Jacob said, they support it, and i wouldn't mind them wearing something like that. But i, myself, prefer just plain t-shirts with no design.
Cool shirt BTW.

now, this REALLY deserves a topic?
i just lurk sometimes
I have two video-game shirts: one depicting Pong, and another showing several NES cartridges above the words Home-schooled.

Well, I think people who wear shirts depicting Yoshi, or Mario, or Kirby have more. . .childlike personalities; however, I would rather see a twenty-something wearing a Boo shirt than teenage girls wearing low-riding jeans and strapless braziers.

Without knowing you in real life, I can tell you're the kind of person who desperately tries to fit in out in public, but when you're alone, you're completely different. Sort of sad.

Also, that's an awesome shirt. I don't really wear VG shirts in public much at all, but I do own a couple nonetheless. Maybe I should dig them out at some point.
This should be the official shirt of Team Haunted

It looks great. I wish I owned any kind of VG-related shirts, or just anything that shows I like that certain thing I'm wearing on my shirt. I have only a Dream Theater shirt so far (official or not, I don't really know, but looks pretty badass in my opinion, with Images and Words on the front of it). But nothing else sadly. These clothes related to video games are pretty rare in my country, actually.

Nice job dude, you just contradicted yourself in one post. Besides, as other people said, it's not verry smart to judge people by their clothes, it's just like judging people by their faces.

Also, Hadron, just because you enjoy something, it doesn't mean you have to buy a t-shirt of that, you can show you enjoy something by simply talking about it, your words can say much more than a simple t-shirt (I don't have anything agains people who weard these kind of t-shirts thought).

Yes, of course I know this. =) I didn't mean it's a so big loss that I don't have shirts or any clothes related to what I like. It's just a little extra thing. I'm not even sure, if I had much more money, I wouldn't spend it on fan-shirts and such, probably. I didn't say it's a bad thing, but I'd rather buy a cellphone for my own or something else. :P
I have 2 Nintendo related shirts.

One that says: Official Nintendo tester! Can't you see I'm working here!?

And another that has a GCN controller on it and says: Hand over the controller and nobody

Woah. I have a wristband just like that (which I wear every day). It says "Professional Nintendo Game Tester".

Also, I'm wearing a Mario shirt right now. It's yellow, has a picture of caped Mario riding Yoshi straight out of Super Mario World and it has Japanese text on it. Anyone else have that?

Also, that boo T-shirt is epic.

Almost everyone who has Mario shirts has that one. You can find some in the Photos thread, I'm pretty sure Tailsko has one.

so much respect.... lost..
well whatever blumieres coolness has been pretty low lately anyways.
(at least get call of duty for the Xbox, geez :( )

That's a cool shirt and all, but I saw another one 50x cooler and more ingenious. It was also a boo shirt, but it had the Boo hiding on the front and the boo revealed on the back. If you don't understand.. then wow..

I said I'm a Mario games fan basically, but I'm not a fan of Mario himself as much as I'm a fan of other characters. It's not really contradicting myself.

Only difference between me here and in real life is I don't talk about Nintendo much. I still have the same personality, still socialise and talk to my friends the same way and anything else about my personality here is the same. I don't think you can judge someone's personality and behavior outside an internet forum completely off the fact they find people wearing shirts with a giant Yoshi on them kind of strange.

I mean, if you see someone in the street wearing chains and black clothes with a side fringe with wild coloured hair, most people are probably going to think to themselves "wow, that person looks intimidating and kind of strange. I'm probably going to begin looking at him weirdly because he's different". This is the same with me seeing people with a giant Yoshi on their shirts.

Honestly you can't all hate me for something so insignificant in relation to how I judge people. You all probably judge people by the way they look more than I do. >_>

and I completely agree with you, except see above. I have a few friends who'd get double takes because their appearance is a bit ... out there I guess, but KNOWING them, they're great people. Same can be said for people wearing shirts with video game stuff on them, definitely, but generally any human being judges someone else before they get to know them.

«@Blumiere» it's hard for me to look at someone who's a punk and have the same feelings towards them than if I see someone in every day clothing
«@Blumiere» same way it's hard for me to look at someone with mario and peach on their shirts without thinking they're acting a little younger than they should
