Okay. I feel stupid. How are you supposed to get that shell in the first screen of the first level? It looks like you need to take a turn block and (somehow) hit the note block, since THE INVISI-FUCKING-COIN BLOCK WON'T LET YOU JUMP UP THERE TO HIT IT YOURSELF, but that's one of those things you kinda can't do.

Up there to the noteblock, you mean? If you're at the very beginning, you don't need to go up there just yet. If you haven't yet, you must glitch under the ground, swim under, and approach the shell from the top.

I have decided to get back to this, working on the latter levels. Yes, I will probably change the death cement blocks, they are kinda ugly. Even so, I'm not even sure if I wanna keep this level (kinda reminds me of Kusottare). What do you think?

Well, there are a lot of free items. Most of which can't be used to break the level/are pretty darn hard to take to the next section, but I was still surprised to see free items.

I liked the part where you had to keep two green shells, but since you had 3 I was confused... why not bring the third too?

The 'build-a-bridge' section was rather boring. I'm pretty sure most players will be capable of hitting an invisible coin block...

Other than that it looked pretty decent, not too special but certainly not bad either.
Of course you should fight fire with fire, you should fight everything with fire.

It would be pretty difficult, if not impossible, to bring the third shell, which, if you brought it along, could be used to pass the fence part easier, but I don't really mind that. I could make you have to use it to get the star block. As for the bridge part, it was somehow easier than I remembered (used to be really hard for me), and I think I should either replace it or somehow make it more challenging. If others think it isn't bad, then it can stay I guess.

Well, 'build-a-bridge' sections usually don't go hand in hand with creativity, they're rather lame.

Also I wasn't saying the shell could be used to break something (in fact, I was saying that it's not worth it to bring it), I was saying that at a few points there are free (useless) items. I think it would improve the level design if you found some ways to use those items, rather than toss in free stuff every now and then.

I think the whole concept of this level is just stupid! It's almost impossible to create a 'good' starman-based level, and I almost think it's boring the way I just move around to pass time. I think I will probably end up scrapping it, but I'll keep the video up so that people will look at it and think, 'I would not have fun playing that.'

i actually kinda liked that level: all of your levels are creative, kaizo-wise. although, if you really feel that you can do better than this level, go ahead, it's your hack. i'll still have fun playing it when it comes out, either way.
