We're giving the userbase another chance at this forum after having taken it away for over a year. If you guys decide to continuously blow these rules again, then the forum will once again be tucked away. Here is a quick summary of the rules you must follow:
1. No spam-based games.
Games that do nothing but encourage blatant postcount boosters WILL be closed and you WILL be warned. "Post a letter of the alphabet!" is not a game. That means that games such as 1-Letter Swap with no point are out of the question. Which brings me to the second rule..
2. Put some thought into your games!
If players have to actually -think- or do some work to play your game, then you've created a good thread. For instance, Smallhacker's "Wikipedia Path" game ensured that players would have to spend some time trying to find the shorter path rather than just instantly posting their response in the thread.
3. Try not to post exclusively here.
While this is, and always has been, an .. "active" forum, try not to go overboard here. It makes you look a little less-than-stellar (unless of course you're writing paragraphs for each post or something).
4. Use Ninja Protection in active game threads!
The whole point of ninja protection is so that if someone posts before you can, you don't have to waste your post. Seeing 'AW FU POSTER ABOVE ME' not only clutters of the game threads with useless posts, but makes it harder to follow the game.
5. If your game is going to focus on images, don't hotlink!
Host the needed images in your Files and link them here. The danger with hotlinking is that the image on the linked site might get taken down, breaking the flow of your game.
6. If asked to leave a forum game by the host and you do not respect that wish, we do have the right to forum ban you
