What do you exactly mean with last two rooms? And where was the Bonus area? I guess you werent supposed to be there anyways.
After the Castle part, I was in some very badly edited cave section. There was a floating cutoff pipe that was exit enabled and took me to an unedited level 1C3.

Are you sure, that you actually played my hack? I didn't even use 1C3 as a base in the whole hack. I used 120, where I put some new sprites in it. You can't do too much under water anyways. In the cave lvel you also had to do totally different things, than in the original. Who cares if some blocks are shaped the same way?
FLOATING MUNCHERS ARE IN NO WAY, SHAPE OR FORM GOOD.

Don't give me that "it's Kaizo" crap, just because it's Kaizo doesn't mean you can use poor design. -.-

I love it when people say "this is shit!" and do not give an advice on how to make it better next time. Critic in this form is IN NO WAY, SHAPE OR FORM GOOD.

I'm pretty sure it was inferred just to mess around in Map 16 to make the muncher look like something different. I mean, it is not that hard. Either that or ask around for that patch that turns all munchers into mines (because I forgot where it is).




Why are floating spikes/mines/etc better than muchers? I don't really see the point.
Munchers are plants. Plants don't float in the air, they need some sort of spot for their roots to drain the nutrients from. Mines do not have roots, nor need nutrients.

I don't really, that think Mario is about logic. Mines can't float as well, so that's not really a point.

Anyways, afair my hack just has one line of vertical floating munchers, so that is not really that big of a deal...

Btw. Mines wouldn't really fit into a forest.

The main reason floating munchers are bad is because it looks awkward. It just doesn't seem right for a black triangle with an orange oval base to be suspended in air. It looks normal for a block - Those pretty much make up everything we look at. But a flying triangle that opens and closes just looks strange and unnatural.




On the side of floating munchers: Would you consider a pair of floating scissors to be just as bad?

Scissors wouldn't fit the foresttheme :D

Well whatever, there is more than this one line of munchers in the hack to discuss about.
Hey there I have made an updated version of the hack.

Changelog:

- fixed overworldissues, hills are now correctly colored, player can not press start to fly around
- goomba stompedanimation fixed
- exchanged munchers for a newly created deathblock
- little cutoff reduction
- lowered possibilities of taking P-Switches/Shells/Etc.
- general glitchfixing
