Tip: When making your overworld, mix the terrain up! Add decorations to the overworld. Don't leave large empty grass or sea regions. As an example, angled land and multiple colors look much more interesting than square land and flat, plain colors.
Perhaps some of you remember from last C3 when I cancelled my old hack, Bowser Strikes Back, and then released the SPC soundtrack for it in this thread.
After that I have decided that it would be a good idea to create MP3 versions of all the songs and release them in one .zip file. So, I did just that:
I figured that C3 would be the perfect time to release these. These may not technically be SMW related, but I guess maybe these songs could be used in your hacks by using the new MSU-1 chip. Well anyway, enjoy. ;)
Awesome idea, Jimmy! I'm a really big fan of your music, and listened so many times to your SPC soundtrack since you released it (even uploaded two videos about them and used one in my hack).
I listened the whole Piano & Violin Medley, and it's pretty beautifully arranged.
I listened into some of the MP3s in the pack, and I'm impressed. All of these are really nice arrangements, with good variety of instruments, very enjoyable tracks. As I see you included some other original songs of yours that weren't in the SPC pack (like Into the Dark Forest and Snowy Wonderland). Almost all of these sound better than the SPC ones, only the "Battle" theme liked I better, for some reason.
But still, amazing work! You're really talented in music composing/arranging.

Jimmy, I LOVE your songs. As I said on IRC, this version of Frozen Fury has some cachophony in it, but other than that, all your songs are AMAZING! I want the purely custom ones for myself. <3

Yep. Good stuff here, as expected. The medley turned out incredible, as I had hoped, and you've done a fine job arranging the rest of your songs.
I still think you're one of the only people on this site who can create good compositions, even though you know next to nothing about music theory. It's kinda cool.
