Beta Testing Write-up?

Just wondering out loud, will there be any information on the Beta testing in progress. Will there be a final write-up or will any of the testers give some thoughts on how well the final version is coming up as a whole?

I like to know these kind of things so I reckon some other people might as well.

Thanks =D
Now that you mention it, it seems like a good idea for beta testers to post lists of bugs to the public. It would be a good way for the public to measure progress of testing (i.e. how far along in the hack the testers are) and it would eliminate redundant bugs, as one tester wouldn't post a bug another tester had.

I'm pretty sure S.N.N. wants the testing done very soon, though.
Now with extra girl and extra hacker
Probably an unnecessary thread considering this news post:

The beta for An SMW Central Production has been sent out. I can set an official release date between the 25th and 31th of December now. Expect it then.

Also related, I have released all of the map music TXT files for SMWCP. Check out this thread for info and additional releases later.

Thank you everyone.

I'm pretty sure the testings are already done, the bugs are already being fixed. What Moltensnow said. But it would be interesting to see the beta test report.

Yeah, I don't have a problem with testers posting their bug reports if they wish. I know a few of them are already done and I've already fixed all of their bugs anyway, so shrug.
Well, why not. This is how I did it: I made a very simple little website for the beta testing, so I could update the bugs daily, and I didn't have to always send the updates to S.N.N. or to send all the bugs in a big mass to him. Here is the website where you can read and see all the bugs I found during testing:

(spoiler alert, of course)
Strange, in cave of lost pride, i tested the entire level, and the pipe for the midpoint worked just fine. It's not that hard to fix though.

Umm...

I don't know about the other levels, but for Waterlogged Woods, the screenshot you've taken for it isn't even possible in the game to my knowledge (unless someone screwed something up). It appears to be an edited version of the final stretch just before the goal, and it shouldn't be possible to get over there with the cheep-cheep generator still on. As for the floating tree branch being pointed out, it's actually supposed to be sticking out of a large land form directly to the left of that pipe.

Something fishy's going on there. It's no fault of mine (the author of that level).
Thanks Hadron, it was an interesting read.
Nice to see that it doesn't seem long to go! Didn't see anything too major there!
I should note that a lot of stuff messed up from the time the original levels were submitted months ago and the present date. In TheGamer's case, the midpoint led to a "bad" exit because someone who sent me in a level didn't properly claim a secondary exit (don't know who at this point). In Mineyl's case, the floating tree branch was likely moved by me accidentally while looking through + fixing bugs.

If we have an SMWCP 2, I'm going to set up a different method of "claiming" exits and whatnot to ensure bugs like that do not happen.
Hadron, your "beta.doc" was so damn good compared to mine. I don't got images! Also, I've missed a really important thing so far; checking midway points...

I'm trying so hard to get time to finish mine. I'm having a hard time taking into consideration that this is a collab hack. There is so insane much I could mentioned in my document, but I just have to ignore it.
You guys can take a little longer if you want. asdf, another beta tester, has about 1500 images for me (which equates to about 400-500 bugs, ranging from excessively minor to major).

This might actually delay the release by a few days once again.
Do whatever necessary, let's have this hack as perfect as possible.

Edit: kNitroMan
Mineyl: I don't know about the fish generator, I just tried it again, and I had fishes until the end point. O_o Not a really big problem though, in my opinion, probably somebody accidentally deleted the end generator sprite or something.
Uhrix: Well, thanks. :) Good luck on finishing it.

Heh, after I saw asdf's previous bug reports (about SMI2, for example), I'm not really surprised. :D asdf can find so many freaking errors that nobody else on this site, I think.
And yeah, I pretty much agree with Volke, a bugless, but later work is always better.

Actually, there is no end generator. You're supposed to go down a pipe to a second underwater section (with a chargin' chuck and lots of rip van fish) in order to get rid of the infinite cheep-cheeps.

Check out my gameplay video from earlier this year and see how it differs from what you encountered:
