Inserting ExGFX [Legacy]

Well, it doesn't work for me.

I even used a new U rom, saved it, extracted the graphics, then reinserted them. After that I loaded the ExGFX with F3 on a free bg place and saved them with F9. Last but not least I inserted the palette. The graphics have still the wrong palette, every tile with the colours from the lines beyond 08 just don't work.
I have yet another question :(
How can i insert my own ExGFX?
Same way as you insert from gba =/

Hi guys, I'm new to this forum, and I already have a question:
I'm trying to insert the "Switch palace slopes" ExGFX into my Rom.
I pressed the yellow mushroom, then the red poisonus mushroom and set the FG3 to 80 (the name of the .bin file is ExGFX80.bin) and pressed ok. then I opened up the 16 x 16 Tile Map editor and pressed F3 in page 3. And here comes the problem. I get an error mesage saying:
"Couldn't load a page of Map16 data from file!"
But I have both the Map16Page and Map16PageG iles in my ExGFX folder.

What's wrong? :(

che tu metti il file nella cartella ExGFX :P
Il map16page file dovrebbe essere messo nella cartella del tuo file rom ;P
cosi dovrebbe funzionare ;)

translate:
you put the file in the ExGFX folder :P
The map16page file should be placed in the folder of your Rom file
So it should works ;)

Are they called "Map16Page" and "Map16PageG"? The original file names don't work, you need to rename them.

How do you know what his files are called (Unless Italians can read each other's thoughts)?
Originally they're named "Map16Page (Page A)" and "Map16PageG (Page A)". Lunar Magic won't recognize this.


 
Yes, I renamed them the right way.

Now I managed to insert them, but they look glitched.

:(

Edit: In the 8x8 Tile Editor they look OK.

Can someone give me a link to the Almost Entirely Original Set? I can't find it in the ExGFX section.
Im not 100% sure, but this seems to be what you're looking for.


 
I just figured out how to add exgrfx. My first try was smas castle and it worked. now I want to add a backround, Starfox to be exact. I'm able to add it but when I do the bacrkound gets glitchy (I know is supposed to happen) but in the 8x8 editor it just shows a bunch of lines, and when i press f3 on an empty page a whole bunch of glitched graphics pop up. I'm doing exactly as I did before when I added FG! What am I doing wrong?
Im new here, just made the account.

But im familiar with a few aspects of hacking such as the overworld and exgfx, and blk tool and all that stuff, but one thing gets me that relates to EXGFFX.


When i press f3 to insert my tiles, it says could not load map16 tiles!
What am i doing wrong?
Damn. I didnt know ocelot wasnt left handed.

Make sure the files are named "Map16Page" and "Map16PageG". Also, unlike the actual ExGFX file, they have to be in the ROM's folder.
