I have the latest version. I am in the level where there are eight (I think) different rooms based on previous levels in the game, the goal is to get the orb from each room. I got the orb from every room except for the room where you spin jump to activate/deactivate blocks, I think it is the second door. I get to the end but there is no orb...What do I do?


EDIT:

NEVERMIND, I had to kill myself and try the level again from the mid point, I noticed that this time a lot of stuff was there that wasn't before I died, and a lot of stuff was gone...What's that called? Sprite limitations? I think there was too much stuff in the level which is why the orb wasn't appearing...

If you encountered this on v1.4, I'd appreciate it if you could upload a save state file so I can take a look and see what's up. I cannot reproduce it on my version.

edit: oh, just noticed your edit too. If you downloaded the newest version (1.4) but used a save state in the Void from 1.3, nothing would have been altered. Since you died and reloaded, the effects of 1.4 would have kicked in.

And yeah, it was a sprite limitation error in 1.3.

Thanks for the reply...I have another question; I got all the eggs and I beat bowser but when I try to buy the space suit it just takes away 300 points and nothing happens..Yes, 300, not 3000 like the menus says.

Also, when you deliver the cake is there any way back to the world or are you stuck in the final scene until you reset the game?

Yeah, you're correct in that it takes away 300 (though it does require 3000 to purchase). This is a planned fix for v1.5, since it's pretty minor.

Also, yes, the castle is basically like the credits in the original game (as in, once you enter, it basically ends and you need to reset).

In V 1.3 I encountered a different glitch which pissed me off to no end, I beat the final boss, then I went to peach to see if it would trigger the ending, it did so I went to buy the space suit assuming talking to peach would end it, so I bought it, it took no money away and gave it to me, BUT not only did it do that, but I decided to put a savestate next to peach's castle after buying it, and it said I hadn't collected the eggs, so I ended up having to redo the final castle COMPLETELY apart from the 8 orbs which I was hugely grateful for not having to go through that hell again, so yeah, not sure if anyone else encountered this but it was quite annoying, and if it hasn't been brought to your attention you may have to fix it for v1.5 since it's quite a big glitch as the final castle was fairly difficult and not to mention long, also what was the music for the first part of the final castle? but if you want to see the glitch I can upload that bit of the Lp early so you can see what I mean
