Since people can't be original (sans a few of you) I decided to moreorless just throw starting points for each boss (except world 9) and replace/update them with better ideas if we get any:

World 1 Castle: Mecha-Tree
World 2 Castle: Pirangler*
World 3 Castle:
World 4a Castle: Jelectro**
World 4b Castle: Desert Cat
World 5 Castle: Balloon Animal*
World 6 Castle: Blimp Duck
World 7 Castle: Fire/Ice... thing

Why are there two castles in that world?
MarioE's Koopa Bros. for some mini boss in world 1 or something.

I think SNN has basically decided to split that world into two, Ocean/Beach and Desert/Ruins, but if not, 4a will probably be a fortress.

I'd love to do another boss. I don't want to be greedy however.
Would a simple Birdo be a good boss for the first world? maybe with a new sprite, what do you think? Or looking for more originality.

Sometimes I just find it the most fun if its kept down to some degree of basics.

No really. Think about that one Shine in Pianta Village in Super Mario Sunshine. Has that level frustrated you to no end? Make it a boss! You can beat bosses, so you get to have your revenge. :O But how will you beat it...? ...it's an idea in progress. Anyways, here's what I have in mind for how it attacks:

Quite simply, there's spikes on the walls, and the Pianta is out to get you. It will attempt to pick you up, at which point, it will throw you at the spikes. Maybe it could instantly throw you, like the Piantas in Sunshine. (The minute you finish talking to the ones that will throw you, they throw you. No "pick up, wait a bit, throw". Just instant throw.) So, you'd have to avoid the Pianta's movements. Perhaps it could walk around slowly for a while, but every so often, it'll just rush for you. Also, perhaps the arena could be more than one screen wide, so you have plenty of room to run around, and so getting grabbed by the pianta isn't an instant hit. ...

..............................I just had another idea branching off that. How about instead of the Pianta being the boss, the room itself is? The Pianta is trying to get rid of you, so it's an obstacle, but there's a part of the room that you have to destroy to stop the factory? Then we could throw Piantas all over that level as obstacles. :P

Ive another idea for a boss. The idea came from you Riolu180.

Not even sure what the Boss would be, but here's what he would do.
He would be a tall boss and you would have to jump on his head so many times to kill him. Trick is hes too tall to jump on.

But he throws some sort of item that sticks into the side of the wall.(items would also stick into the sides of another item or just break and dissapear after short time). The items could be carrots, rocks, icicles who knows.

You would have to jump on the items lodged into the wall and then jump onto his head. And WALLA you've killed the beast.
Perhaps my idea of using Hermie III from M&L.

Proposal means the boss has already been made, not an idea.

Don't know. I guess I just don't like that kind of boss. I prefer bosses that requires reflexes or learing attack patterns. Neither of that seems to be the case here. Just my personal opinion, though.

Well Atma I really think hes sweet.
Why was Pistol Shrimp added to the list? We have no graphics, noone has shown any interest in making it, and the only person who wants it is RPG Hacker.

Proposals are for the actual sprite itself, not the concept.

As for why it's on there, It's all possible ideas for boss makers to look at.

Well, a clock tower would kinda fit in the industrialised theme..
I'd like to see a Wham Bam Rock style boss somewhere, using the background for the boss's body and sprites for the hands. There are far too many 32x32 bosses out there, and truth be told, they simply aren't very intimidating. Perhaps something based off of Cackletta, Shadow Queen, or the Black Chest demons?
