Changing the kind of level it is...?

Okay, here's the deal.

I'm editing the normal over-world but when I am editing a level I am limited to what I can use.

Like if I am doing an underground level I can only use underground bad guys and sprites.

Is there anyone to mix-match them?

Like... could I have a lakitu or a megamole inside of a castle?

And how can I change what kind of level it is?

click the posion mushroom and click the bottom drop down menu. Then you can select certain things like forest baddies in a castle, but no castle baddies.

Just back here to browse a bit.

Simply Click on the Red Purple Poison Mushroom, and it will give you a list of all the available Tielsets, and Sprite Lists

Clicking on... say... Ghost House.. will turn ll of the GFX to Ghost House GFX and Items...

Same with the Sprite list... Change it to... Forest, and you'll get Wigglers, Jumoing Flames ect...


After You become more Experianced with this you can specifically decide which GFX you want, by using the RED poison Mushroom.

One more question though.

Is it possible to say...take a sprite like "lakitu" and add it to a level that doesn't ahve lakitu without messing with ALL of the other sprites?

Basically what I am asking is can I just take that one bad guy and add him to a level he doesn't belong in without messing up the other badguys?

Use ExGFX and paste Lakitu's GFX in the exact same spot.

I don't know how to use ExGFX.

Well then you're not going to get the Sprites you want until you figure it out... It really isn't that hard...

Read the FAQs, Several Documents, and Lunar Magic's Help file, and after that you should be able to figure it out.

Ugh, okay I'm trying. But I don't understand things by reading them... I have to hear it, or have a visual.

But this isn't making any sense to me.

So far I have my folder named "ExGraphics"

And I'm pretty much stuck right there...

In that case read it loud, so you can hear your own voice.
Just joking, but I can't see how we could help you if it doesn't help if you read something. But you can take a look on YouTube, I'm very sure there are some tutorial-videos up there. But I really don't know how helpful these kind of videos are, I never needed or watched them. But if visuals could help you, you could give it a try.
