More progress of a mushroomy level Im making. This one involves Goshi :3
Wow! That looks great. The fake HDMA and the palettes really bring it all together.
I'm really pleased with the way that looks, a sky world is a hard world to perfect. The fakr HDMA is brilliant, the bg is great. Also, for world ideas/ perhaps consider a large tower/castle overgrown with plants and vines, with loads of obstacles. It's less generic that way. Or perhaps a sunset sky level. That could turn out great if executed correctly.
JDC: Thanks! Im glad people like how it turned out. It means now I have a default cloud Bg in the hack.

G.N.K: Cheers, Your ideas are really great! Im considering making the last castle in W2 a vertical tower level.

Also, Im going to make a thread about "Chomp" in the Kazio forum, mainly because I think thats were it belongs. Plus I wont be clogging this forum up with threads.
I have some good updates Im sure you will want to see...well...those were interested at c3. :P

EDIT: Oh you want me to put venus fire traps in the level? That sounds like a nice idea but I really dislike that sprite.

Looking in depth at the screenshot provided, I can now see that looking at the enemy- will the boss be a Toastie? Perhaps the return of the 'now angry' Small Toast- one of the best original enemies in the game.
The next boss of this world will be Beaner, yet in a harder form.
(I really need to get his boss room GFX done...)

As for Small Toasties return, I may include him in a later world simular to what Troppa Jr. was like in Paper Mario 64.
With different forms(like in PM64)?It excist Normal Toastie,Paratoastie and Bob-Omb Toastie...Will there be Magic Toasties?

WARNING BIG UPDATE/ANNOUCEMENT

With S"M"W2 Ive added custom music and sprites. Sprites are not a problem. Its music.

Ive used Perl's addmusic. Even though it has limitations and what not it was fine for me as I was more focused on levels. I onyl added music for a change of taste for those sick of SMW's orignal track.

I went and downloaded The new Addmusic by Hung, and to my surprise it said,

2. If your ROM has used any Addmusic besides Romi's, sorry, you are out of luck. Get a new ROM.

Fuck.

So its up to you guys,

1. I port everything to a new ROM.
These means all patches, hex edits have to be done again, all sprites and stuff inserted. Map16 inserted...

Or

2. Continue as I am now. I dont really consider music till after Im done with a level but people out there may want better tracks in the hack.

Now this is gonna be a big decision. Why? Well porting can take a long time and well my exams are soon approaching so it could be awhile for a fresh update.
So yeah guys?
What should I do?
Port to a new rom. As it happens I was considering offering to compose you a soundtrack anyway...

port it to a new rom, i don't really care about music working on a real snes or not, since i play on emulators, but people whine about that for no reason, so you will need to port it, good luck.

TheGamer: Ive looked through prting precdures and to be honest it actully does not look that bad. I just gotta save about 5 pages of map16 and rememember where stuff is inserted. :P

Im going to begin porting tommorow. Hopefully I could get it finished before the weekend I can resume. Good job I exported all my pallettes!


EDIT: Levels have being exported. I inserted them into a test rom and it was pretty easy to do! I could get this doen tommrow then do hex edits and patches!
