Those are some nice screenshots 1updudes, the palettes all look great, I really like how the fake HDMA looks in the 1st screenshot. I like the gimmick for the level with the bullet Mario in, and that Cloud-man (boss) is pretty awesome too.

Anyway Im busy with the the first W4 BG and FG, The world is a haunted theme so yeah. It should be "spooky".

Well, sorry for a slightly delayed response- but can I just say- the new tileset is amazing. I never knew such a simple tileset could look so amazingly detailed. The marsh is excellent, perhaps some broken statues would be an extra detail that would really improve the scenery. The floating pond weed works well here. It really sets the scene in my opinion.

As I said I was gonna add more decor into the tileset. Also Im glad you like the pond weed idea. You cant swim in that stuff though!
Actually, an idea for the murky sludge water would be to make it better by making it... well, true to life. We know we can't swim through it because it's too thick- so why not emphasise this by making it harder to move through. Maybe make it act like a non-animated quicksand block. Just a small idea.
Interesting concept there, I dunno how to insert blocks though... XD
Oh, thanks. And, if you like I'll tell you how to from memory- since I've never really used blocktool for a while. Well, to start use Blocktool Super deluxe from the Tools section, along with your block (.asm) Open your rom in Blocktool SD and choose edit database. From here make a pathway in windows to where your asm is and play around with the discriptions etc. When you're done, use another dropdown option to find your block name and a map16 box. Choose your block name (highlight it) and use Lunar Magic's 16x16 map offset (at bottom of the window in LM) to create a location for your 16x16 block. You can then set your GFX to that map in LM etc. Use the tile that you selected for gameplay.
Well after 15 mins I worked out Block Tool Super Deluxe.
With that said I hope to add more blocks in soon, but not to many. I see blocks as little extras to levels.
With the new blocks the muddy bog water is slow to get out of, as its sucking you in...
