Winter Level Design Contest - Results! - Old Contests & Events

Comparing this to the 2010 Choco Contest, this honestly had far better levels. I'm not sure if it was because prizes were at stake, but I had a blast playing a good chunk of them (and less of a blast playing the other chunk). I was, in fact, the only judge (being that most others either didn't want to, or were busy around the Christmas time). I do hope you'll find my judging fair - as always, I gave unbiased feedback to go with each score.

Figured that might be the case, but it was too freaking fun to make to consider staying within the judging categories.

Edit: Oh right, before I forget, it would be nice if each category was commented on separately, just so people can know exactly what they did wrong and how to improve on it. Maybe that's just me though.

9th place? Pretty great, I think. Anyways, congrats to the winners! I still haven't played most of the contest levels, so better if I start with those higher ranked ones. ;)
But, to be honest, when I realized that S.N.N. was the only judge, it made me a bit disappointed. Don't get me wrong, I think your ratings are good, S.N.N., but I think only 1 judge is a bit too...few. Especially for so many levels. I know you explained why were you the only one judge, but still... It's fine as it is for me though, but in my opinion, it would have been better with a bit more judges.

I'm actually rather glad that WhiteYoshiEgg's entry came ahead of mine; it was absolutely stellar and one of the main reasons I didn't think I'd come in first (even if it didn't work in bsnes...)
