The underground area is mostly unchanged, seen here.

I'm not sure which palette we'll use (the right one is my old palette before we established a new atmosphere), but this should at least answer your question.
Just so you know, I'm very active on the site anymore like I was before; I'm mainly on Discord now.
The right one is hotter-looking than the left and seems more fitting to me overall since the lava is constantly washing over the rock, but I am a little torn because the pillars look far better in the left image. Maybe there can be a "compromise" between the two palettes to get the best of both. The translucency of the lava helps a lot since you can still see what lies ahead before making a move.
