Why not...

I have a question about SMWcentral.
Why isn´t there a new link in the menu file that says "My Treads". If you click on it you would come to all your own forums. So you don´t have to go to forum and check every NEW file if it´s your own.
That might be an enteresting idea, but should probally be discussed in the Site Questions and Bugs forum.

Yeah, Hack Discussion really isn't the place for this. Moved.

Sorry

Well, There is another thing I´ve thought of:

Have another link in the menu that says "show profile". Then you don´t have to look through the whole User list or edit and save your profile.
You can just click your name on the online users list...

I know
But if there is many users online it´s much more hard to find.

I know...
...It is a bit lazy but still. Just a tip.
I've actually wished that was there aswell, but never really bothered mentioning it much.

It isn't really that hard, it is in alphabetical order.
Yeah, that´s right. Forgot about that. Well, what do you think about the "my forums" tip?
It's not really necessary since you should know where your own forum is and you can just check your posts if you really want to.

EDIT: *thread

Not forum... Thanks Ladida

Anyways, I actually have always wanted this. It'd be nice to see the threads you've made, and not just your posts.
And for those with a tendancy to forget which forum they made it in ,(looks at mirror) bad mirror, Or if their thread got old goes inactive who knows how long ago and they don't have a clue which number it was under but need to read something in it...
I forgot where this post was going.

This thread is a pretty good example. It took me a while to find it when it moved. I thought it was in hack discussion and I looked for it for a very long time. Then I realised that I could check it in the show posts. But still. It would be easier to just have a my threads link in the menu.

Which probably shows moderators should message you when they move the thread instead of posting about it.
More like the thread author should automatically be PM'd once the thread bas been moved. I always PM the OP if I move his/her thread but it'd be more convenient if it was done automatically. Not sure if it's a good idea though.

On topic, I do support the idea of having a 'show threads' button, probably next to 'Show Posts' at the bottom of one's profile. Not much else to say about this.

What do you mean?
I meant to write threads. But I wrote forums due to tiredness.

Do you mean that you don´t want the "my threads" thing?
Yeah. It's a pointless idea imo.
