Resource Requests (GFX/Music/Coding)

I would really like a Rex that bounces, like the boucing Koopas. Using the wing GFX.

The extra bit will determine whether it will bounce low or high.

Make the tile act like tile 25 then, mario will just fall through them, or did you mean to stand on them and mario can or not fall through them if he wants to?

He means Mario is supposed to fall through those, while other sprites stay on.
Again, torpedo teds that launch up would be nice.

I also need a background that has sorta short mountains, on islands, to go with my oriental coast theme.

There is one in level 1EF, though it doesn't really have islands. You could probably tweak it a bit to make it work though.

Also, I'm still honestly surprised that no one has taken up your first request yet. There is a disassembly for the Torpedo Ted and everything. Would someone be willing to make this?
Hey guys! I need some ressources, and i can't find something equivalent in the Sprites/Blocks section. Can someone take these requests?

-A TNT Block. (16x16) You can carry it like a key, but when jumped on, a 3 seconds timer start, the block flashes, and finally, explodes like a Bob-Bomb. If you can make the 3/2/1 numbers show up, that would be perfect.
Here's an example:



-A rock. (32x32) Blocks the player's path, as well as all other sprites. When it got hit by a Bob-Bomb explosion, it explodes.
Here's the graphics:



- A SMWCoin Block. (16x16) Actlike is set to 130 at first. When the player gets all the SMWCoins (= when the SMWCoin counter reaches a specific number, i guess), the block will simply dissapear. No graphics, actlike 25.

Also (and finally), it's not really urgent, but i need an underground background that fits this tileset: Gold Mine Tileset Video

I think I need an upwards torpedo-ted launcher too. It's kind of nice if someone made it for us.
Do you and Teyla mean Torpedo Teds that launch from the top side of the object, or that travel vertically?

I'm pretty sure a T.T that launch from the top horizontally. I could use them in my level as well.
Cross-posting from my own thread - these are the last "major" requests I'd really like to see done to help give my level that final bit of polish:

-*Graphics: Either a 16x16 or 16x32 graphic of ExAnimated "boiling" bubbles. Meant to denote where swamp gases are escaping from the water. Larger swamp gas bubble sprites will emerge from here.
-*Graphics: Speaking of swamp gas bubbles, if someone can draw a swamp gas bubble (that ideally has a transparency effect, but not necessary). I had drawn one based on the Goomba Bubble, but I'm not sure it's the best. If you're curious, here's a link to the post where I show off one of these bubbles to get an idea what I mean.

-*Sprite: Don't necessarily need a new sprite here, but if someone could help me out with adding a "pop" routine to the YI Balloons (smkdan's sprite). I'm looking to add a routine that will cause the sprite to "pop" and disappear either after so many seconds/frames have passed and/or the sprite has reached a certain Y-position. And if the routine could show a "pop" graphic, perhaps using the spin jump flash.
-Sprite: Although not necessarily vital to the level at this point, if this sprite was made, I'd likely swap out some koopas for this sprite, so yea...

The *'d items are the ones I'd really like to see done - the Froggo sprite would be an added bonus that I could definitely make use of, but isn't 100% necessary. Thus why its a request.
Anywho maybe get the disable cape flight patch and somehow convert it to level asm. Or even simpler look for a sprite which does the same effect.
Disabling flight was a common thing in some SMWCP levels, so I could probably dig up the code from that and post it here. Let's see...

Say, does anyone want to try their hand at an (or simply know of an already existing) upward water current block that doesn't suck? And by "doesn't suck", I of course mean "sucks more effectively", as simply using an upward wind block set to act like water causes Mario's upward movement to max out at his normal highest swimming speed, regardless of what the actual block settings are, or what they would do were it set to function as air. If anyone could therefore devise a block which can propel Mario upward underwater in a faster and more determinable manner than current currents of widely available manner, forsooth, that would be a laugh-and-a-half.

Do you mean that the block moves mario up, or that it increasesdecreases his Y speed?
