Hi been trying to apply this hack/mod but every time i do the rom fails to load. Im using zsnes 1.51 and using lips to apply ips to the rom. Im kind unsure what a headered rom is but from what i could find this just means the rom uses the file extension .smc plz correct me if ive miss understood this.. i intially tried applying the ips to the recomended version: Super Mario World (U).smc. I then continued to apply to both 1.0 and 1.1 of the pal/(E) version but with the same results. I've used lips recently to patch super mario kart with no problems so im not sure what im doing wrong. i get the following message on start up

Try applying the patch to a Super Mario World (U) [!].smc ROM. You might want to use the Clean ROM Verifier to make sure you're using a clean ROM file.

wow thnx for the swift response the rom i tried was entitled as you said with the ! but turns out its not a clean rom. Ive now aquaried a clean rom and is working fine now thnx again much appreciation.
