does that mean this gets removed as well? infact i havent checked yet but is there anythign else that isnt directly related to hacking in the tools section now? (or at least what most would consider not related to hacking tools)
Note to self: Kill zsnes too, it doesn't have any "MADE FOR SUPER MARIO WORLD" stamps on it either.

Translation: I want that rule gone. Some tools are useful even though they don't don't say "SMW" anywhere. *looks at Lunar IPS, bsnes, yy-chr, and a bunch of other tools*
<blm> zsnes users are the flatearthers of emulation
There are common exceptions to this rule, for example: emulators - otherwise I would've nuked those exceptions already. The tool moderators decide what tools are exceptional - with common sense - while keeping the section clean. I remember seeing a complaint thread by Kieran about the tools in the past. I don't want it to happen again.

If we keep on accepting tools such as this one, we'll have the tools section filled with things such as notepad++, paint.net, fruity loops and microsoft office in no time. That's just unnecessary.
My blog. I could post stuff now and then

My Assembly for the SNES tutorial (it's actually finished now!)
well, ok, but im just saying that it sounded like notepad++ shouldnt be there with saying anybody could look this tool up, like is the current accepted notepad++ there because it was submitted a long while back? i guess its just an exception for now.
It was made during one of the C3s; it has SuperYoshi's ASM library thing in it which can't be found anywhere else as far as I know.

asm library? you mean like it recognizes
65c816 style asm? i would have thought that due to asm being used in more then just smw hacking or snes hacking in general would be in notepad++

ASM is used in more than just SMW hacking, but that's not 65c816 ASM, it's more than likely x86 ASM. It recognizes 65c816 ASM (Which is quite useful I might add).
