Probably here.

If you're looking for resources, try searching for them with Ctrl+F first - chances are you'll find something that way. (Although it's probably not obvious what you'd have to search for in this specific case.)

now I went to go download a addmusic tool but where is HuFlungDu"s since it keeps mentioning USE HIS

EDIT: NVM

EDIT2: when I try to open the application. is closes just as soon as I open it.

Addmusic is meant to be opened with Command Prompt.
I change my layout every 4-5 months
what"s command promt?

You'll need to copy it over from your System32 folder: C:\Windows\System32. Or you can also find it in your Start Menu under Accessories.

Copy Command Prompt into your AddMusic folder. Open it and then type the following (hitting Enter after each prompt):

AddMusic.exe ROM_Name.smc -se
AddMusic.exe ROM_Name.smc

(ROM_Name being the name of your ROM)
The first prompt will install HFD's MORE.bin while the second prompt will install all of your custom music.
Im on Windows 7 and dont have System32

Um, it should just be in you Windows folder.

c:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe

At least that's where it's located on my Windows 7 computer. Do any sort of permissions need to be enabled to view the folder? Unsure since I really never use Windows 7 myself.

You can also just try doing a search for cmd.exe if it's not in your Start Menu or you can't find the folder.
I found it. copied to the folder where I have Addmusic. and my rom. entered Addmusic.exe Super Mario Land.smc

however it said Addmusic.exe is not a regonized file. help there please?

Don't use spaces in your file names. Make Super Mario Land.smc be SuperMarioLand.smc

Also, make sure you type:
AddMusic.exe SuperMarioLand.smc -se
first so that HFD's MORE.bin is installed.
did that just now. but it keeps telling me that AddMusic.exe is not a operable or comperable program or batch file. what"s with this

You have Command Prompt and your ROM inside the actual AddMusic folder, correct? Or do you still have the AddMusic folder as a zip, since I recall you saying something weird about winzip in the other thread. I can't really think of what else you might be doing wrong otherwise.
I have Addmusic in the main folder (my main hacking folder. all the other addmusic stuff in another folder. the rom and cdm in the same folder as Addmusic.

Ok, this is the only other thing I can think of, since I just tried a few goofs to see what could be giving you that. So, it sounds like you moved AddMusic out of the AddMusic folder. If that's the case, move it back in, along with cmd and your ROM. In addition, if this is the case, it also sounds like you might have moved the ini file (the config settings) as opposed to the actual exe file itself. But if none of this is the case, then I really have no idea what's going on.
yeah what I did was extract everything out of the zip. move everything but the AddMusic.exe into a AddMusic folder. put the AddMusic.exe into the same folder as my rom and since then the cmd. now I moved all three into the addmusic folder. but im still getting the same message.

and im still on the loop of getting the custom sprites in. (and it seems like I also some how destroy my rom after I build Blargg"s Domain (Yoshi"s Island 3)) lol.

Instead of using the cmd that is in that folder, hold the shift key and right click the background of the folder. Then click "Open command window here". Then use the commands specified by Milk.

(The reason this works is that cmd.exe in Windows 7 automatically starts in the "C:\Users\(username)\" folder. This trick gets it to start where you want to bypass having to deal with "cd".)
Your layout has been removed.
It worked guys. it said succsessfull music insertion. what do I do now? lol.

Now open your ROM with lunar magic, and click on the note box, and change the song to the one you want to play.
