Inserting "color: COLOR VALUE;" into the div/css class where your font/text attributes are located should do it. Don't forget that "COLOR VALUE" should obviously be replaced with the hex value/RGB value/name of the color you want your text to use.

As for your layout, ROBtheBoo... do what others said, that is, insert the actual code into your header and the closed DIV tags into your footer.
I have a request. Can anybody make a dark blue to blue gradient like thing. Going from blue to Dark blue is good too.
Ahh, I was almost ninja'd! On a thread like this I wouldn't have expected it.
I have nothing to put here, so I'm putting these filler words in until I can think of something that I can fit here.
Here you go, Whoamme.

Do i have to paste every time or can i set it to do it automatically?
Also, what's up with the red letters saying "Tag (div) was not closed"? Also, in the words of the LoZ:WW shopkeeper: THANK YOU!

Quote my post for the code, and no, don't repost the code for every post. The first paragraph goes in your header, and the second paragraph goes in your footer. And for the footer, put all of your text before the div tags. Hope this helped.

I hope i did this right...
I sugest you change the font color or something. Also, whats that in your siggy?
Can someone add a signature spot in mine? I don't know how. Oh, and mine doesn't stretch through the whole layout post, like most do.

I thought that was part of the html...

Quote this.

Hi! I'm dead!

Can someone help me with my layout?

I tried putting a sig box, which kinda works, only there's a big blank space at the bottom, ending the layout prematurely.

Here's the .css file if anyone needs it.

I completely redid your layout. You should get a different picture. That one doesn't look good as it's not transparent.

Header:
<div style="background: url(http://img690.imageshack.us/img690/3195/pinkstripes.png)"><div style="background: url(http://img221.imageshack.us/img221/1062/arceusgijinkabydezkadar.jpg) center right no-repeat; padding: 20px; padding-right: 150px"><div style="background: #FFF200; border: 2px EEBB00 solid; padding: 5px; color: #999900">

Footer:
</div><div style="background: #FFF200; border: 2px EEBB00 solid; padding: 5px; height: 50%; color: #999900">Sig here</div></div></div>

Sig here
Thank you!

No, I mean... well, a picture says a thousand words.

It may just be the browser... not sure, since this also happens in FireFox. Not sure about IE or Chrome.
Okay, then. This request is to be done by Tom Servo, as he offered.

Would you make me a new css layout with this background tiled repeatedly, along with this image stuck to the bottom-right, and (if possible) a sig box?
(Removed)

Here you go Ladida. Not sure where to place the link color scheme, though.

EDIT: Removed for errors.

this is what happens when you copy layout code. You end up with untidy code filled with errors. I suggest that you learn some HTML before attempting to fill requests.

(I'm sorry if I seem harsh, but I'm just being bluntly honest)

If you learn HTML, you can understand what each atribute means. It makes it easier to fix other people's layouts and generally be able to create clean layouts.

@Zmann:

Header: <style type="text/css">@import url(cssfileurlhere);</style><div class="repeatbg"><div class="reisenbg"><div class="postbox3">

Footer: </div><div class="postbox3" style="height: 50%; margin-top: 20px"></div></div></div>

The css file can be found here. Upload it to your filebin and paste it in the header where it is indicated.

I'm not sure why margin isn't working. I know that my usage of it is correct, but I don't know why it isn't showing up. Perhaps it is because it is all in a preview post...¯\(°_o)/¯
Replace this text with your sig.
Wow, this is an amazing layout. Thank you so much! :D

Uh. You're doing it wrong.

Paste this part of the code into your header...

<div style="padding: 5px;"><div style="background: url(http://i46.tinypic.com/x1yel4.png) top left repeat-x; margin-right: 11px; margin-left: 16px;"><div style="background: url(http://i46.tinypic.com/x1yel4.png) bottom left repeat-x;"><div style="background: url(http://i45.tinypic.com/o0dzy8.png) top left repeat-y;"><div style="background: url(http://i45.tinypic.com/o0dzy8.png) top right repeat-y; padding: 20px; font-family: times new roman; min-height: 152px;">

...this one into your footer...

</div></div></div></div></div>

...and voila.
Could someone design me a layout with a cute riolu as the background and the layout looks like this:
EDIT:

Square 1 for Posts

Square 2 down here for sigatures

And Square 3 on the right side for other text
