Custom ON/OFF block question

How do you make the block change from one block to another?

I'm using the block here. It has blocks that become solid when the switch is ON, and blocks when the switch is OFF.

Assuming you mean make the graphics change, you will have to use ExAnimation. For which you can find a tutorial here.
