Tip: Layer 3 backgrounds and tides disappear when you hit a message box, so plan your level around that. For example, you can add a sublevel without layer 3 at the start/midpoint, and include your message there.Not logged in.

Actually, I had in mind that the wind blows EVERYTHING to the left, stops, blows everything to the right, stops, ect.And that there is constant lightning

yeah, it's nothing like what i have in mind, But this idea of yours can become annoying to the player if not used correctly, i think you should try something else.

the idea was, if the player times his jumps, he can get awards, or he can wait for there to be no wind at all, advance,wait out the wind, ect.
Mainly, since I am trying to make a storm kind of level, I need chaos(what better way? LOL)

I, finally got my computer working, so niw I am working on my level.Thing is, I am a bit confused about how secondary exits/entrances work.
Any who, about my level, I have abandoned the idea of the storm generator, instead, I will be pushing to make my level more of a cloud/girder mix in a hostile way.

Working harder now than I was a couple of months ago. I was aiming to have a beta of my level up by the end of last month, but it looks like it'll take a tad longer now due to unforeseen sprite complications.

You don't have to worry about me forgetting about this project though, obviously. I'd be interested in hearing from the other designers in this world though as well.
My computer is having a problem and I will be able to work on it only next weeek, because my dad don't let me to use Lunar Magic in his PC.
Progress on my level is going good, i hope to have a ips to show in a week. 1/4 Rooms are done, though the second part is longer then the others, and i'm about half done with it. I plan on making something like the fake bonus room from Cave Of Lost Pride, don't know if i make the same room but with a different and more complex way to get out, or if i make another thing, still thinking.

Just a fast list of the rooms i have in mind:
- Normal Floating islands Plataform
- Plataform with ruins and cloud blocks (4 Clouds that do different things)
- A castle that changes from 8 to 16 bits with a on/off block, or with a door.
- Secret Room: A small puzzle (ideas, anyone?) on a forest area.

Why? What's the point in doing something like that?

Gotta agree. That would be more fitting in somewhere like the abstract world (if at all), but it just sounds kind of tacked on here.

Honestly, I'd just use rooms 1 2 and 4. They sound much more fitting, and it sounds like you'd be more than capable of making a full level run off of those gimmicks alone.
I thought that idea would be cool, the castle would not pop out of nowhere of course, it was supposed to be a floating castle, but yeah, going to think on another thing, since the 2 areas alone are short (for me at least, they are very linear right now).
Going to post an Ips when i get those two done for some feedback.
