Hi, guys. It's me, Green Moon 93. Anyway, I am making a CRAZY ROM hack called Hijoshikina Mario. In case you're wondering, hijoshikina is the Japanese word for insane.

I need some help thinking of the levels. I have already done a fast-scrolling cave one, but I need help about what else to put in.

If anyone has any ideas on what to put in the ROM, can you please post in this thread?

How about one relying on chasing a mushroom all the way to the end of a level, with more creative things than just a path and noteblocks. Maybe creative use of shells/shell jumping to bump the mushroom places?
I don't currently have ideas, but try posting some screenshots of what you already have.

Personally, I think we need to see more "EAT THE BERRY OR DIE OF TIME" stages.
Maybe some kind of creative puzzle involving placing ten red berries to get a mushroom later, or a level that uses a custom block train path, or eat ten red berries while on a block train.

Every single level I will ever make in SMM2 will be easier than Ultra Necrozma.

Really? Where? Anyway, I think that's an awesome concept in general (see in Wut). Anyway, this has very much potential, and it also depends on how it's done. I don't mean "copy worldpeace125/kaizokoban/Botcrazy," but make it unique. I feel berries were underused in the original SMW (or, maybe like 'koban said, use red berries).


Berries are pretty broken (due to the double-eating glitch, among other things), so levels involving them are generally easy to break.

If you do want to use berries, I want to see one using the pink berries. Like the player needs to collect a life, and the only way to do it is get the 1-up from the cloud.

Thanks, everybody! I really needed this help. I'll find somewhere in my levels for your clever ideas. Perhaps one whole level for chasing a mushroom or a block train.

P.S. I've already done level 9. It's a fast-scrolling cave with spikes, nets, Grinders, Thwomps, Podoboos, and other stuff.
