The upcoming title of the New Smash Bros has been announced during the E3 2011 Conference.
Although, the game has been announced...development hasn't even started since the Guy making the upcoming smash bros game for the 3DS is putting the final touches in his game "Kid Icarus: Uprising"
The game will be made for both "Wii U" & "3DS" and will have the ability to cross-play between the home console and handheld device!
Awhile they announced the game, many fans are eager for the release date to revealed of the game...which isnt due for the next year or so
A Question still remains!
•Who will make the cut for the new game?
•Who would be removed?
•New Challenges/Unexpected events
• 4-player adventure/online adventure.....just a guess
•Differences between the 3DS & Wii U versions!!

inb4 they only announced it so people get all hyped and in hopes of selling more systems etc.
After three SSB's, and playing a lot of other, much better fighting games (in my opinion) I'm a bit fed up with the whole Nintendo theme. Be aware that this only reflects my own opinion. If Nintendo were to get more interesting characters into the game (come on, we need more exclusives like Sonic or Snake), that'd change my opinion. Also, an adventure mode similar to the Subspace Emissary mode, but a bit more touched up. Something about it in SSBB irked me though I can't quite pinpoint it. And mix up the Classic Mode; was it just me or were the runthroughs mostly the same enemies in the same order? I must have been real unlucky if that only happened to me. More fights, numerous bosses, something to keep the player wanting to play Classic Mode.
I have high expectations, just so you know. We'll see what Nintendo has up their sleeves.
Anyways, another SSB would be cool. I hope the levels lean towards more to the Melee style-I never played that one, but I had more fun fighting in the Melee stages in Brawl rather then the new ones. :/

My gripe at this point is the lack of new first-party series Nintendo can pull characters from. Sure, we can have stages and updates related to Super Mario Galaxy, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Kirby's Epic Yarn, Skyward Sword, etc, but in terms of new series... dunno. I mean, Brawl included Olimar, and hopefully we'd see some Golden Sun representation, but part of what I liked about the SSB games was seeing new things represented over the span of time between games. We can see more characters from existing series for sure along with retro characters, (i.e. Little Mac) but eh.
Still, I'm looking forward to it along with how they implement the 3DS/Wii U combination. Obviously, this game is a long ways off and I wish they didn't announce it this early, but we'll have to see how it turns out.
Something tells me Peter Griffin will be in the game, but not Homer Simpson
I personally actually think Sideshow Bob actually has like a 99.9% chance to personally get in as the main character, personally actually.
Aside from that, as long as Captain Falcon is still in, that's one sold copy to me! Nintendo kind of pigeon-holed themselves into having few new series representatives left, what with Barlw trying to be the ultimate Nintendo crossover. Ah well, there are still plenty of other characters from the existing series to pull from, at least.
Oh yeah, and if random tripping is still in, I just hope this game ends up as easily moddable as Barlw.
Well, there's the extra Mario characters used in the side games, like Waluigi...
In any case, I seem to recall reading that Nintendo said Brawl would be the last Smash Bros. Am I mistaken, or did anyone else read something like that.
and they also said they'd never remake ocarina and then it happened.
Anyways, We can probably expect to see this by 2013 or 2014, you know how long brawl took, with the delays and early development in what...2005 or 2006, 2004?. They should take their time anyways though, not have such a failure as Brawl, Don't get me wrong it was decent for those who loved it, but compared to melee....
I'm hoping to see at least 1 golden sun character and 1 new Kid Icarus representation.
