Tip: Try sketching out ideas for overworlds and levels. Even if they don't manage to fit into Lunar Magic completely, at least you have a base to work from, instead of doing it all from scratch.Not logged in.

@Eevee I've seen most of your stuff and everyday you're getting better at making graphics. Keep it up my friend.
Finally decided to make slopes for my Canyon tileset. Hell, finally decided to touch Lunar Magic as well; Upsidedown slopes coming soon as well as the NSMBWii canyon background.

I offically suck at backgrounds...#smw{-_-2}

In case you can't tell, it's part of the background i'm making, which is a forest background. So far I only did the bushes, and they look kinda bad, compared to other backgrounds with bushes.

Any suggestions/complaints?

@Falconpunch: Is it just me, or why the tree looks a lot like rock?

They aren't trees, they're bushes. And what do you mean "Rock"?

@Falconpunch: I mean, the bushes looks a lot like rock wall to me.

Hey, that's good. Maybe you could update a few other sets too, such as adding different-sized blocks to the NSMBU bonus one. I was just thinking about how I hope there will be some good graphics releases at C3.
@Falconpunch: Also, the grass looks like water.

Disregard my previous signature. Apparently it is called Stickerbrush in the GBA version.
Here is a screen shot of a future hack I will be working on.

I have this awesome thing; --error 404 name not found. you must be a SMWC golden user to see this hack's name.-- - Title Screen The movements are not changed, if you didn't notice. I tried to make it different from the original as much as I can.

Wait? The movements are vanilla? Wow, that's one of the rare hacks with vanilla title screen movements on a custom level without dying. Good job. #smw{:TUP:}

--------------------
Okay, my layout looks ugly.
There was actually a 24 hour contest on making a title screen with the original movements some time ago (it was the second one I believe). I must say that the title screen there is impressive SRH! I am wonderin how long it took you to make it? The "Nintendo Presents" screen looks quite nice as well.
@Everest: omg wtf i was excepting you guys to take more time to find that. damn it. :( Anyways, thanks for your kind comment! It took me 2 days only. Well, more like 1 day, cause it took me two half days, it actually tooks me like 3 months to finish a level, but since the moves are already made, I just designed it, I knew how it was supposed to be, also I had lots of inspiration (I still do!) so it took me one days. Also that's why it's name is 168hoSMW. The idea is to make a hack with all of the 24hosmw challenges, only 6 levels. Also thanks about the NP screen =) also I wonder what would've happened if I joined that? I'm sure I would've scored waaaaaaaaaaaay better than the 7th 24hosmw. The 7th one truly was a shame for me.

Also, since you knew that I were inspired from the second 24hosmw, can you guess which entry I were inspired from? Guess it right, and you'll get a cookie from me! #w{=3}

Just a little part of the OW I'm working on for my hack. I'm not good with OW so I'd say this is good enough.

What do you think?

--------------------
OMG IT'S OVER!!!
Here is the title screen for my game. It's actually the 6th different one I've designed and I like this one. Thoughts?

Edit: I fixed the green things.

--------------------

@SSBurai: Well.. it sure isn't bad, but there are perspective errors, also it is blocky, but hey, it doesn't mean it is bad. It can be better if you fix the errors.

@MrAwesome8: Well, I don't really know anything to say about this.. it's so small that there's nothing to say about it.. nothing but the idea is original. Not the generic title screen there, so nice. Also the name sounds interesting. I'd like to see more progress on that.

It would be nice to see some more opinions about this.
looking pretty good there, SSBurai!

although it looks a little plain around the water areas, the shape of the overworld is generic, but works for people who are new to creating overworlds.

there is a minor perspective error on the green ground: the water cliff looks much higher than the cliff on land and there are missing lines surrounding the cliff near land.

@RealMarioGamer - i really like that overworld. not too crammed, not too empty, just perfect! that waterfall and river in the middle really gives it more depth.

@MrAwesome8 - i really like your idea. the music and idea is unique. those green "things" look like inverted "v"s. did you insert any sprites or patches that could be affecting the title-screen?

@S.R.H. - i like the idea of the title-screen lettering to go behind all the foreground. however, in some cases, cutoff can be seen, like the small grass specks that stick out of the ground. the "6" and the "8" in the title-screen also have a weird palette. but overall, good title-screen, movie, and level!

--------------------
Currently: Starting college!
@mario and luigi - The 6 and 8 actually don't have a weird palette; you're watching it in low quality. The same thing happened to me too. xP
Also the moves are not changed, not sure if you noticed that.

e: holy shit the pillow shading

My first good, complete rip! The background from Sutte Hakkun - Title Screen. Planning to rip more backgrounds from it.

It's Atomic Destroyer Zone from Sonic Triple Trouble, except with some minor changes.

S.R.H.: Not much to say, but it's actually quite nice.
Skoda: I think this not need feedback. That's only 4 grapichs. Don't much to say.
SRH, not much about the big. But the first look empty. Big bushes or blocks will make that cool.

C3 Over.

Some hack things why i are feedbacking on.
