That is a top all-time map I've ever seen on here. It's so beautiful and full of detail and so packed with stuff to see. The palette is satisfying and there's great use of contrast. Super impressive work!
Well that's probably the most unique player character I've seen in a while. I'd say you should put a little more effort into its design though:
For instance, the big Mario frames should actually be one pixel higher up, so that the character doesn't clip into the floor as much as it is currently. Maybe push the stacked mushrooms a bit closer together as well, so it looks more like one is sitting on the other and not just floating on top.
The levels look a bit bland as well. If both the player and enemies are going to be mushroom-themed, you should go all-in with the level scenery too. Add some mushroom patterns to the dirt, add some tall mushroom trees to the landscape, stuff like that. Even the vanilla game had bushes and grass, which I didn't notice in yours.
Very good start, though. Level design seems on point for the most part, especially level 3. Keep it up, this could turn into something really cool.
My attempt at making a gimmicky normal level. I was bored and I wanted to make something in LM to encourage myself to make levels. As the name implies, you need to feed Yoshis to proceed. But be careful, the second half has a twist. You mustn't feed Yoshis, unless it's unavoidable. Hope you enjoy!I have a Discord server as well!
I may have canceled my level, but I've never said I could change my mind and get ideas.
