Haha, I like that arrangement. Did you make that yourself, because it sounds excellent. I like the use of YI instruments as well, however I do feel that the clarinet was sort of abrupt. Maybe it's the volume?

Anyways, I'm really liking the change in genre. Loving that electric piano and organ.
Second attempt! Yay!

Not too bad at all, definitely better than my first and second ports :D. My only suggestion would be to fix up the percussion a bit, it's a little quite imo.
I think a post layout goes here somewhere...

Is this any better?

I'll just leave this here, xD.

It's far from done (uses poor SMW samples at the moment) but I find it hilarious how it sounds at the moment.
@imamelia Alright, I forgot the name of that song XD

About the port, the Sax starting at 0:17 is a bit very loud for me
Your layout has been removed.
Q: What do you get when you take an original SMW song, rearrange parts, and use strange instruments?

A: This.

Edit: Going camping for 10 days, so I might not be around.
At least they have Internet there.#w{=3}

@mariostarligi Oh God this is better than anything I've ever ported.

@whoever ported Fladre Scarlet's Theme: It's been done, but this version has an echo delay higher than 0F or whatever, so it's going to be rejected soon.(Love the @4 ADSR, really makes a great "brass section.") I recommend increasing ch3's(#2) volume. Also, if you know how to do percussion, I recommend this set of instruments:
Code
a @23
a+ @23
b @21
c @21
c+ @25
d @29
d+ @24
e @10
f @21
f+ @22
g @22
g+ @22
I think the last four aren't correct, but I got this information from Atma and Tornado in #smwmusic/#lolmusic like a year ago, and they didn't tell me about every single note's corresponding instrument to begin with.

Also, use o2 and o3 for your percussion.(I know some guides say put an o4 at the beginning of every channel so you can simply change it's octave with something like Octave Manager, but percussion sohould be o2-o3(Basically, TinyMM should have kept whatever octave it's supposedd to be on, so don't put any octave up front.
Adam= Stuff you don't want to know.
Earn 250 mb more DropBox free space! When SMWC was down...
I personally use o4c for @29, o4c for @21, o4c for @22/@23 and o3c for @10. For others I can't really say, I don't use them very often.
I think a post layout goes here somewhere...
@General Echidna
I know it has, but as far as I know, it requires AMM.
I don't know anything about AMM, so... yeah.

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon - Sky Tower
Yes, I made a few more changes to this. That dang loop point is what's still baffling me, but I think it sounds nice.

Bucky O'Hare - Red Planet
As requested by K3fka, I ported this oddly catchy tune from a game I had no idea existed.

MOTHER/EarthBound Zero Intro
Nothing much to say, I guess...

And since percussion is on topic...
Code
o2 b = @21
o3 c = @21
o3 d = @10, @26
o3 e = @29
o3 f+ = @22, @23
o3 g+ = @22, @23
o3 a+ = @22, @23

This usually works for me, but if there's anything that isn't on this list, I just assign it a percussion instrument and tweak it while I listen to the port.

Looking good with the Sky Tower so far. It just got better. Gotta love Pokemon Mystery Dungeon.
Layout by piranhaplant.
Thinking about making a Rainbow Magic thread at the Media forum.
Here is something I ported when I was bored
Romancing Saga - Hurry Out
More songs to listen to. :3

Hanafuda Ou - Game (sampled)

Harapeko Bakka - Round 3 (Slow) (unsampled)

Yuu Yuu Hakusho - Sadness (sampled (only instruments))

Edit: Someone like cave tunes? Here's a small song from Marvelous:

Marvelous - Cave 1 (sampled) fits perfectly for a small cave scene. :3

Whoa, excellent! I love the soundtrack of this game and this port is pretty identical. The tempo feels a little bit too fast, but otherwise, it's just great. You're getting better and better at this, Ice Man. :)

I always loved this track, and this port is so close to the original. It feels like something's missing, though... I just feel it's a little more, well, empty than the original? Eh, I haven't listened to it in a while, so I'm not sure.

Nonetheless though, I'm really, really liking this port. Great job!

Not familiar with this one, but it sounds excellent! I like the very subtle volume changes going on, specifically talking about the acoustic guitar.

Flawless, really. Great job with this port!

Not familiar with this one either, but it sure reminds me of "Friend Like Me" from Aladdin. Hahaha. Very catchy stuff here.
