Like I said earlier, it's okay to edit a song for your own use; however, it is ethically bad to claim it as your own. Now, with that being said, I will say that a lot of your material seems to be based off something else. It would really help improve your own image to community if you referenced said source, maybe so that the past couple of occurences probably wouldn't happen again.

The example I provided in my last post was solely an example, that's the reason why I didn't change the name of the SPC or anything along those lines. Actually, all I did was go back five or six pages and copy one of your links. Everybody that listens, hence, clicks that link will automatically know I didn't make that; however, an example had to be made. Truthfully, how would you feel if somebody took one of your compositions, and based a song off of it, and it was bad sounding compared to your good sounding one. I don't know about you, but it would insult me terribly well. That is what people are getting upset about. Do be more original, and don't follow the melody of a beat that you have listened to. Just remember this, listening to a song WHILE composing or anywhere near that time is a bad-bad mix. Otherwise, I'm fairly certain that you would be better off not showing it off at all. I'm not trying to be mean, but aggressiveness/"the right words" is sometimes what it takes to get through to people.

Please critique it thorougly without the trolling so I know how to greatly improve either one.

My initial biggest complaint with it is how harsh the steel drum is. I know SMW's doesn't really allow for a lot of flexibility, but it might be worth lowering the volume on that channel. The steel drum line is actually missing its harmony as well - that is, there is a second channel that should also be playing a steel drum that didn't seem to make it into your port. I'd look into that.

Finally finished it off again.
Also yes I know the spc/midi port cuts out but there is nothing I can do about it without damaging the midi sequence and having a messed up port.
When I get back home late tonight I'll see if the volume is abit too loud.
All of them except 2 of them are on v120 the 2 channels are at 92, 112.

Lastly this is something new I have been working on, the midi author as you will see on the spc had taught me some more advanced midi techniques.
This is solely dedicated to Atma for unfriendly taunts and ahort word teaching conversations.

My biggest complaint is that you could use a direct download link (file bin) instead of a ad spammed upload site like mediafire/rapidfire etc.

@Botcrazy: It sounds nice but at the same time it feels like it's all over the place. It's ridiculously hard for me to describe ;-;

The percussion isn't half bad, and the ADSR is nice, but the melody and harmonies jump around a lot. Plus, the original has more hamrony to it. You might want to consider adjusting this one a bit.

Or better yet use a different instrument like the @1. And set the w to 255 or something. It's way quiet!

A weird-ish sort of beach theme. Inspired by the theme song from Ecco The Dolphin (Genesis/Mega Drive). Obviously not quite finished yet.
