Those graphics look awesome! They look like Gravity Beetle stage graphics with stuff added to them, if that's what they are, that is. And the background is epic too!

Yeah I'm saving those parts for last; since they won't take long to finish. I'm getting all the levels out the way first.

Yeah those are Gravity Beetles graphics combined with graphics from different megaman games. (I like using megeman graphics quite a lot)

Well guys; Special Levels 1-5 are finished. (1 & 5 were already finished though) But I finished up Level 4 today. It's a pretty whacky level; and I'm not sure what I was thinking when I made it but; it's supposed to be based on the Out of Dimension level from Starfox on the SNES. This has got to be the weirdest level I've ever made; yet it turned out excatly how I wanted it too..so I'm glad about that. Anyways here are some screenshots and a video. (Video shows the animation better)

The Background for the First and Second part I put together myself. I just added the Power GFX in the Background a long with the stars. Everything accept the enemies is Vanilla used in the weirdest way I possibly could.

Well anyways comments and feedback are always appreciated. I'm really close to finishing all the levels.

Looks very chaotic! In a good way! =D Haha, I love how the coins/? boxes/ BG changes colors that is pretty cool =D Also the selection of the music is very fitting, great work man.

It looks very wacky and colourful. :P

In seriousness, I like the level idea, and the scrolling background, but I feel there's too many ideas in one level making it a bit inconsistent. Because of that, I'm not too sure of the level's gimmick/intention, as it's a mash of several different ideas. :/

Anyway, it certainly looks cool and 'out there', I guess! :)

What if the player get epileptic seizures with all that constant changes of color?

I'm not joking - epilepsy is more common than we think, a lot of people don't even know they had it!

Just throwing it out there - no one wants a repeat of that only Pokemon episode.

Inconsistent is what I was going for; though the level doesn't have a gimmick to it; also the level's actually pretty straight forward; It's just the design was attended to look a bit confusing. The level was designed to give you the "WTF is this" feel; meaning it's not supposed to make sense; that's how the level it was influenced by was like a bit. (Hope that summed things up)

Do you think it needs to be toned down a bit just in case? I really wouldn't want to risk causing that.

That level gave me a headache *o* I gguess that was the reason you was feeling like crap.
Really, the level itself's nice, but all it's visual gimmicks... Not-so-good and chaotic in a bad way (at least for me).

Really? I'm sorry about that. Honestly there's not much going on in the level besides the Rainbow BG scrolling. (Maybe I can stop the BG scrolling) It's design was attended to be confusing (Not really chaotic though) Also it wasn't the level; I stated that I've been feeling like crap all week: I've only worked on this level yesterday and finished it that same day.

Also don't forget to remove the berry from your SP2 graphics so the divine and fallen koopas don't have that black berry above them when they spin in their shells.

Looks really nice. This level is really wacky (in a good way) and it was supossed to look which is a nice idea but I agree. It looks a little chaotic. Nice work!


Oh, and I noticed these Super Koopas (or what are they called) have odd palettes. The palettes are probably going to be completely vanilla but those Koopas have odd palettes.

Ontopic, After looking at that level is giving me a headake, (I didn't watch the video but still), I don't know what you would want to do but I would make it pleasing to the eyes, but thats what I think at looking at the screen shots but I'll play it and see if its eye pleasing in game.

Thank you. Oh and about the Koopa palettes they actually came with a palette file (That I forgot to add in) Basically I forgot to change the palettes it seems.

Off Topic: Once all the levels complete I'll start working on some levels. Sorry I haven't had much time lately to work on other collab levels. Time isn't really on my side this month.

On Topic: Well I'm not going to do anything about it for now; as nobody said the level was eye searing. So far the only problem it seems was the rainbow scrolling background but majority seem to like it so far. Idk I guess I was just trying something different.

@DiddyKaizo100: Haha thanks. You still have a while before you have to insert the music because I still have to add in cut scenes. (And a few secret exits). Also with the "SNES SPC700 PLAYER" in the tool section, can't you hear the music before hand? That should make things easier.

But really thanks a lot guys. I really, really appreciate the support and positive comments I've been getting through out months in such. I've spent about almost a year now working on this and constantly trying to improve my level design in such so it's good to know it's somewhat paying off it seems. I still can't believe I'm actually almost done with this.

Well here's Tower 6 of the Special World. (Skipping over 1, 3 & 5) Here are screenshots of the level.




So this level represents the Water Theme of World 6. It's another water level.....with a bit of a twist actually. Instead of actually swimming like usual water levels; you can move around freely and jump higher, very similar to water levels in Megaman. The inside part of this level however is normal moving around.

So the last two levels will be finished within the next day. Tower 7 is currently in the making and Tower 8 won't take long to finish....due to reasons I can't explain (Spoiler Purposes). I've already thought out the story so cut scenes should take no longer then a week. The only thing is; I don't have an overworld yet; so yeah...other then that...this should be in the full release section this month; I'm happy to say.

Anyways feedback is always appreciated.
