Well, I wasn't referring to your level. I was trying to make a general statement about level design and other appeal. Sorry if you misjudged my sentence.

We already answered your question. Yes, you can use palettes and map16. >_<
Well, it took me like 3 days, but I finally have my "level" done! It's actually 14 really tiny levels (about 7-20 seconds each) put together into one big level, with a boss at the end. There are a couple "secret" doors too. It's my attempt at making something unique and fun, enjoy!

I don't know how some of you people do so much palette editing for your levels. Mine only had a minor bit of it and it took me over an hour just for the little I did.

I apologize in advance for the difficulty of the level, it ended up a bit harder than I originally intended (though nothing jumped out at me or my testers as unfair). For better or for worse, the themes explored in the level don't lend themselves to giving the player a lot of leeway. To those who played the original versions of these two levels in my demo hack, you'll probably prefer these more balanced versions.

Don't worry about posting it as a link, as long as it works - which as far as I can tell, it does. It will be put up on the first page with the rest of the levels.
