Title: Super Mario World Tom Edition
Genre: Action/ Easy-puzzled /Full of secrets / Comical Plot & Style
Features: -Custom Graphics (Very few of them self made)
-Custom Blocks
-Custom Sprites (Only when necessary)
-Sometimes unusual level design
(No cliche levels)

The Bearded Boy, a strange creatures from another dimension has captured the princess and forced mario to enter the Dimensional Break
inside a comum castle in Mario World, wich is "The Dimensional Castle" in his world. Is up to Mario to save the Princess again... (or maybe not). And also, he has to find a new way home.

I know most of the bugs and issues (like icky palletes) contained on those Screenshots. However, since im no Chuck Norris it would be nice if you tell me about a suggestion or a bug/ bad issue you found as you were staring those pictures. (smooth laughter ^^)

Also, if you have something to ask about gameplay, i'll be delighted to explain it.

My hack is yours to criticize. I hope you enjoy...

Some Serious Considerations:
So, this is a hack i´ve been working for a while. I know that in the past i've created a trhead about it already, but that trhead is SO old that it does not fit to how the game is today.
Please, before anyone get offended,I must say that I do not want to steal any graphical content from anybody, so if im using graphics that belongs to you, and you consider im unauthorized to use them, just Pm me. Everything that's not my propriety will be credited if necessary.
(I'm using some famous graphics tough, i think it's hard to someone actually think that they're mine)
[Please notice that the plot is'nt the focus, and I do want the same
"save the princess" thing. Nintendo's been doing this for so long, why can't I ? ]


I love the look of the small mario haha. Also yeah, the Status Bar palettes do not look good, but I like the palettes of all the levels, except maybe the first pic, I am not so sure about that palette set up heh. Also what do you plan on using for patches? anything that would majorly change the gameplay?

The first picture you posted... it looks like small Mario is trying to strangle Yoshi. O_o

Other than that, and the palettes, as you have mentioned, it looks pretty good. I cannot see any big errors, and the game looks like it may be fun..

I actually really like what you did with the first palette. I love that strawberry/chocolate cake look; it's even making me hungry! However, I would make the lighter part of the chocolate a bit more desaturated because it might be confused know...

To me, everything else looks pretty much all right aside from the bad status bar problems in the second and final screens; to fix that, you'd need to make the background use a palette other than 0 or 1.

Overall, pretty nice work so far. :)

-Today im posting some pictures of my OverWorld.

-Please notice that this pictures content show's just the Idea of the Ow itself.

-That means that those pictures show my first DRAFT of the future Ow.

-Also, notice that in my future versions of the Ow i'm going to implement some ExGfx
and create two more submaps, an "Egypcian" map, and a "Candy Land" map.
(And obviously, finish those unfinished sub-maps, such as "fire-ice-ghost" cave.)

In short: It's unfinished and unpolished.But i'm giving you a taste.

Oh... and also:

My answer to Camoslash: Yes and No. Yes, I am going to use a few patches. And No, none of those patches would majorly change the gameplay itself.
I'm using some simple patches such as changing "game over" to "epic fail", "animated picking the powerup scene" (don't remember the name), etc.

[-I think that the only patch that im probably going to implement that's going to change gameplay (a little); is that one that changes mario ExGfx.
So, depending on wich character I choose, I may be forced to use another gameplay gimmick.But that would be just one level or two.-]

My answer to Chanagaburu: Glad you like it! And yes... he IS strangling yoshi! Thats the part of the game where yoshi has to die.
(Nah... just kidding ^^). Also,yeah, i'm up to fix those damn pallete errors, don't worry.

My answer to Zmann: I'm happy to know that you get the message, and even felt hungry about the first candy land level.
I just hope you don't starve when playing! Also, i'm having some serious busyness trying to fix the palletes, because i'm using some
ExGfx that needs those slots to work, I know that, that's not the way it should be, but, unfortunatly, most of Smb3r's and other author's graphics uses
more colors than the original game can handle. (I promise to upload a picture of the problem on the forun's help area)
