Hi
I ported my ROM and I tried to insert the sampled version of "Dark world" that is in the Custom Music Waiting To Be Moderated section. Im using HuFlungDu's Addmusic v4.05.02 and i inserted the -se option, then all the music with the sampled song included and them I used sample tool. The problem is that when the level begins there is no sound (and obviously the game crashed) although I put the song in the level.

What did I do wrong? and, Can I use addmusicM and sampletool?

Edit 2: can someone move this thread to the custom music section? My error
edit 3: ignore the thread if you want, I discovered Tessera is incompatible with almost all sprites and porting is useless right now :(

1. The song uses a delay value of $06, which is obviously the cause for the crash in accurate SNES emulator.

Find in #3:

Replace with:

And test again. If the problem's not solved, let me know.

As for your 2nd question, AddmusicM is NOT compatible with Sample Tool, since the $E5 command has been taken out and is only used for tremolo there. BRR files are the way to go with AddmusicM.
did they remove that command that lets them load samples?

$F5 $XX $YY Load BNK sample command, where Z= instrument (to go with YY), XX = SampleTool BNK slot +50 (in hex), and where YY = Pitch

this was in crispy's tutorial, did they modify or remove this command like with f3 were its nolonger +9?
It was most likely one of the early versions from AddmusicM, if even one of them. :S

$f5 lets you define a FIR filter in AddmusicM these days and $f3 loads the .brr files defined in your PCM set.
finally my ROM was ported and thanks for the help ice man but I edited the song and the problem is still there (and I used some other values instead of 6.

Edit: The sample .bnk from dark world works well because I used with other songs

Edit: For thos who are reading this, I found the solution, the txt file didnt have a header but now the uploaded and fixed version (which came with the renovation of the music section) works well.
