@thewizard

Just entered your level but after moving right, ZSNES screwed up and got closed.
I've tried it with Snes9x too, but it gives me a black screen.

Well, here is my entry:

Soda Greens

It's a simple, bright and happy level.

I tested it in Zsnes 1.51 . It probably won't run on BSNES due to carols addmusic (could get the song only to work on carols with more.bin).
I believe I used a unheadered rom for the IPS patch as original, but I'm not sure.
I'm not a IPS expert, so I hope it works.

So, say you decided to visit this blog, alright? And, say you happened to notice that there was this spot at the top right labeled "Free Stuff." Given all that, I'm sure your curiosity would be piqued, and I'm sure you might read what those free stuffs are. Maybe one of those free stuffs is relevant to your interests, and maybe even to this thread. Maybe. Maybe not. Who knows unless you look, right?

And, if this doesn't work, I will be thoroughly frustrated.

It doesn't work.

Are you serious?!

Okay, I just played it on ZSNES and it works for me. It did have a black screen in Snes9x, and I didn't play the other emulator. So, it works in ZSNES 1.51 for me and ZSNES 1.36.

I'm not gonna bother with it anymore. I have no idea what could be the problem that it works for me and not for anyone else. I don't even.

My Files
I used ZSNES 1.51, and the emulator crashes when I move to the right. Interestingly enough, the first time I played it, I got somewhat far into the level before it crashed, and then it just started crashing at the beginning.

Well, I wish it had worked because I put a lot of time into it. Makes me sad because I wanted to win. Oh well.

I'm still baffled that it works for me and nobody else. It makes no sense.

Good luck to everyone else.

@ thewizard

I went ahead and took a look at your patch and unfortunately I can only report the same result others have stated, it crashes mid level.

I’ll try my best to judge the level, who knows maybe I’ll get lucky.

Such an odd and unfortunate problem, I wish you were able to fix it but at least you had fun making the level right?

--------------------
I know, that happened in my game too when I used a certain enemy, I think so maybe it's a particular enemy or does it get frozen in different places sometimes? I was trying to use the SMB2 Birdo for a boss at the end, but it kept stopping when I got to it. Then, you heard a sound effect, and the screen got glitched so I just didn't use it. I hope that helps somewhat.
TIME UP

Judging shall now begin.

--------------------
While the judging is on progress, can we discuss about the levels of some users here?

--------------------
My hack has been cancelled.
Tested my level last night and found nothing needed changing.
Good luck to everyone who entered! #w{=)}

BTW, will all the IPS patches be placed in a single Zip folder?
Am I allowed to fix a small bug I found in mine? It makes it a lot harder than it should be.

Yeah I'll get to that in a little bit.

Sorry but it wouldn't be fair to the other contestants if I let you do that.

Judging is going well so far.

I’m going to need therapy after this

Alright here is a zip file containing all 14 entries: click here

Excellent! With IPSharp, applying these patches will literally take only SECONDS instead of doing it one by one.

EDIT: Uhhh... why does thewizard's entry keep crashing randomly on me?

Don't bother with it. I couldn't figure out how to fix it /:

I was able to play quite a lot of it actually, I just couldn't figure out where to go. Then all the sudden BLAM zsnes shut down.

Could you make a video of it thewizard so we can see the level in its entirety?

So has anyone played my entry? Today's the perfect day to do so, it's Halloween themed!

I haven't played them all yet but my favorite so far is Ripperon-X's level. I love the DKC3 music used.

@Aquamentus: Your level is probably the one I like the best, but it still have its minor gripes. They're not too big.
