MML formatting (Probably a stupid question)

Is there a particular way in which an MML file needs to be formatted? And by that I mean is there a particular number of spaces and/or lines I need to put anywhere, like at the end of a channel?
It doesn't necessarily matter honestly, as long as you keep it somewhat organized then you'll be fine. One thing though that absolutely needs to be at the top though is the Addmusic 4.05 header.

This is how I lay my txt files out. It ultimately depends on what's most comfortable for you.

Okay, good to know.
Of course, looking at that leads me to believe I have no clue what I'm doing... but I suppose I'll find that out once it starts failing.

EDIT: It works in ZSNES and SNES9X... but it sounds absolutely horrible.
You get better at finding your way around MML code as you port more songs. Slash_Man's TXT looks pretty scary because the song he was porting was complicated to begin with. Ports usually look a little more basic.
