The game crashes on bsnes and SNES9x (AddmusicM)

I just finished a new sampled port, made using NintSPC and adding BRRs ripped from the original spc. On ZSNES works perfectly, but sometimes on SNES9x and bsnes the game crashes when Mario dies. I have no idea what causes this glitch, nor if there actually is a solution! Also, on SNES9X and bsnes the game produces weird noises when the music plays.

I first thought the echo was too high, so I lowered it (although with the Rewrite Echo Work Memory setting on SPC700 Player the SPC doesn't crash), but the problem doesn't disappear.

Any ideas? Here is the first part of the txt file, if it could help.

All the pervoice transposes commands are disabled.

Are your .brr files inserted to slot $A9-$B3? Also, you are loading samples $20+ instead of $A9-$B3..
Other than that, we can't see, if anything is wrong. The instrument set up won't help much.
Biggest reason something like this works in zsnes but not any other emulators is because of too high echo values. I have no idea what echo values you are using, but that's exactly what it sounds like.

I don't think the glitch occurs because of that, as I'm using a $02 value:
Code
VCMD_ECHO_ON $1f $19 $19
VCMD_ECHO_PARAM $02 $32 $00

Also, the music actually plays well in those emulators, but sometimes, when Mario dies, the game shows the black screen, and instead of returning to the overworld map it crashes.
Here's a video recorded on SNES9x.

It would help us more to know which song you are trying to port and how it looks like. Bad pitch slides can be one cause, too.

Edit: Your echo parameters look fine though, doubt that's the problem.

Of course. Like the video shows, it's Green Greens from Kirby Superstar (click for the full txt)

Haven't seen the video link before, my bad. This definetely sounds like an echo problem, since KSS tends to use multiple echo parameters in one song.

Find this at #0:
Code
VCMD_ECHO_ON $1c $1e $1e
VCMD_ECHO_PARAM $04 $ce $01

and try to replace it with the default echo parameter found at the beginning of #0:

Code
VCMD_ECHO_ON $1f $19 $19
VCMD_ECHO_PARAM $02 $32 $00

Uh, I didn't notice that second parameter ^^'
Thanks, now it works perfectly and doesn't crash anymore.
