Are there certain samples in Yoshi's Island that are identical to ones in SMW? Specifically, I'm looking at samples 0E, 10, and 11 in the level music, which sound suspiciously similar to SMW samples 02, 00, and 0B respectively. (YI sample 0F also sounds identical to SMW sample 12, but it's never used in music.) I ask because if I make a YI sample bank, I have to know whether or not I need to include these samples.
There are definetly similar samples in there. As to whether they're identical, there's no way to be sure but at a guess I'd say they probably snuck a few SMW samples in YI. They often rehashed Mario samples among the SNES Mario games.
