Just Another Vanilla Hack - SupahKoopaTroopa

This is a one level hack that I made in about an hour. This is just a demo so when I have more time and more hacking experience, there will be a full hack update

So for now enjoy!

DENIED

Just looking at your screenshots I can tell this will not be accepted. Taking one hour to create this then submit it to SMWCentral just won't cut it. Decent hacks can take months or longer to create and get the recognition they deserve.

REMOVAL REASONS:

Editing the Overworld is recommended. Keeping the same one from the original SMW makes the hack seem amateurish.

Intro to the level DEATH results in... Well... Death. This is why you should edit your overworld.

I had to bullet hop at the very start of the level...No.

Stacked munchers is an automatic removal reason.

If I don't jump on this springboard that falls immediately Mario dies, and cannot cross. Plus those [?] blocks that are stacked looks bad.

I stopped playing here because this is an obvious Kaizo hack which cannot be accepted into SMWCentral's hacks section. Check out This thread for Kaizo hacks, however I doubt people would want to play this one because it seemed like it was slapped together.

#5 - Your hack should be of a reasonable length.

Unless you intend to make your hack contain very long and very high quality levels, demos which are too short to provide any feedback on or be enjoyable will be subject to removal. A general rule of thumb is that the hack should feature at least one complete world with about five levels, or should feature around at least 15 minutes of game time.

#9 - Keep the hack at a fair difficulty.

Avoid issues such as death traps after the goal, blind jumps, forced damage, excessive enemies, places where you can get permanently stuck, excessive 3-UP moons, projectile sprites (e.g Bullet Bill) placed directly into a level instead of using the correct shooter/generator sprite, etc.

#12 - Quality level design

Your hack has a much higher chance of being accepted if the level design is fun. Conversely, if the level design is found to be lacking, then small graphical glitches may be enough to push the hack into deletion.

There is really nothing to fix here because the whole level is Kaizo. There would be no point in submitting this again.
