Punk Sarcophagus originally claimed this level quite a while ago however I've seen absolutely no sign that he even started the level and have every reason to believe he's forgotten about it so since we're at the end of the hack now here's the haunted special level.

Ghost, Platforms, not bad *Checks last screen* Well THAT Escalated quickly.

Looks neat nonetheless. 1 Minor quarrel retaining to those last couple screens is that though it hits the platform in front of the arch it looks like it doesn't due to it being behind it. It could cause a false sense of security and/or questionable physics. Otherwise looks great! :)

Oh Hell No claimed this level a while back and did show a little bit of progress he made some graphics for the level and showed off the first few screens of the level however I've seen zero signs of progress since then so unfortunately like Punk Sarcophagus has just lost his claim.

Anywho this is the third level of the ice world. In the spirit of continuity I've used the same palette Daizo used in the final goal room of his level and made a nice tundra cave.




There's also an underwater segment in this level.

Final level of the special world and it is of course weird and abstract. First of all the skull and crossbones blocks only HURT Mario they are NOT instant death.




Yes there's fish in space.






With the special world now complete there's only one level left in the hack to do and it's Bowser's Castle.

I am planning for my half of the castle to be bouncing powerthwomp/non-claustrophobic (red stemmed) piranha plant combination for about no later than screen 03 and then for the rest of my part of the level I was thinking rotating grey platform/podoboo combination with perhaps some ball-n-chains.

All I wanna know before I start is what tileset you wanna use for the castle either something already in the rom so like eXcavators graphics that were used on castle 1 and 3 for example or maybe you think we should just use the vanilla castle tileset or if there's something in the graphics section you want me to add to the baserom because you think they'd suit the final castle better that can work too. As long as I know so the Bowser's Castle tileset is consistant.

May I suggest that with those rotating platforms you add some BallNChains that go the oppposite direction (As to hit whoever is on the platform when they pass)? :D

Still alive? Of course just look at the last few pages of screens. Almost done too. Every level is finished except for Bowser's Castle. Speaking of Bowser's Castle.





As stated above Daizo is going to be doing the second half of the castle.

I have some levels that I made, but never ended up using because my hack got cut short mainly due to the fact I sorta fell out of making levels. If you can use them, would you like to?

All of the levels are finished I'm just waiting on Daizo to do his half of the castle I was planning on PMing him when C3 is over. Then other than a few bugfixes there's just the OW, cutscenes, titlescreen and credits to do.
