Make a SMW production 2 easier than the first

Can a SMW production 2 be easier than the last? In the first one I couldn't even beat the first boss (The giant spiny)! The rest of the hack was very difficult too. It would be helpful for people who are not so good at playing hacks, or you could make a SMW production for people who aren't as good at playing. Thanks to those anyone who reads this, and more thanks to anyone who supports this threads content.

At this point the hack is getting close to having all the levels finished so adjustments to the difficulty aren't likely to happen. With that said I believe it's not going to be as difficult as the first. Some of the levels as you get to the later half of the game are no cake walk though and will most likely require some level of skill, especially if your playing it legit (without tools such as savestates, rewind, etc.).

I can say with confidence that SMWCP2 is going to be considerably easier than the first one, and in a good way. A lot of effort has been put into keeping the levels as fair as possible and the hack itself accessible to the public. Like DPhoenix said though, this hack won't be a complete walk in the park; many of the levels in the later worlds can get downright challenging... difficult yet not to the point of making most players want to break out the save states and rewinds.

Difficulty in general is also much more consistent; you certainly won't encounter any levels like Football Canyon or Zephyr Manor that happen to be very challenging for being introduced so early.

So I'd say just sit back and you can expect a legitimately fair hack when this is done.

I should have something witty to put here (even if it's just to update dated info), shouldn't I?

What they said.

The only things that may come off as "off" at this point is an unsteady curve with some levels within a single world, but that's supposed to be taken care of once we get to designing the overworld. I proposed some levels be swapped around in the General thread, but it's currently underneath a ton of other posts.
